Example Scenario: Waiter has opened a table in Clover Dining and has 4 Guests. Each guests has ordered a menu item. Guest 1 decided to share a menu item with Guest 2. That menu item cost $10.00

Solution. When selecting the menu item on the screen previously to payment 3 dots appear. When those dots are selected more options appear to pay for that item or move that item.

****PLEASE ADD SPLIT ITEM BUTTON ON THIS TAB. ONCE SPLIT ITEM TAB IS SELECTED THEN NUMBER OF WAYS TO SPLIT THE ITEM SHOULD APPEAR. THE NUMBER WAYS SHOULD DEFAULT TO THE NUMBER OF GUESTS.

In the current scenario the menu item would be split 2 ways. Guest 1 and 2 would now be charged $5.00.

THE MENU ITEM WOULD NOW BE ATTACHED TO BOTH GUESTS WITH “1/2” ATTACHED TO THE MENU ITEM.

ONCE THE MENU ITEM IS SPLIT TO BOTH GUESTS IT SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE MOVED TO ANY OTHER GUESTS UNDER THAT TABLE.****
