Our sales are mainly retail electronics and each item beside the UPC and Sku at time of selling we have to add a serial number of the same UPC. A unique serial number to track warranty plans when they come back for repair.
We do not find any field to add product serial number at the time of sale. It will be great to add a field and enable scanning the barcode of the serial number in that field.
As a temporary solution, we are adding manually the serial number at the notes field for each transaction. But it's hard to search it back (not searchable) Also it is very important to let the Camera scan the barcode of the serial numbers either at our newly (suggested) SN field or at least to enable scanning at the Notes section, that will give more accuracy and save time manually adding long serial numbers.
