Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Reporting Functions. Please share your ideas for how we can update our Clover reporting software to help merchants run their business more effectively. Specifically, this forum should only include ideas surrounding built in reporting functions. We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

1. Reporting Functionality: Ideas here should explicitly focus on the practicality and usefulness of Clover’s reporting feature. Is it easy to customize filters? Is the frequency at which reports generated sufficient?

2. Reporting Tips, Taxes, and Service Charges: This category should distinctively include all feedback regarding Clover reports producing intelligence on tips, taxes, and service charges.

3. Employee Reporting: This category should distinctively include all feedback regarding Clover reports producing intelligence on employees.

  2. Right now it appears there isn't a way to automatically review sales data for a specific item for longer than 3 months. So if I want to reorder a seasonal item from a year ago, I have NO idea how much I sold last year. I have had to request a report and then sit and wait to receive it, and then sometimes I can't even find the right data.   3. Currently the deleted items includes anything that was deleted...if a customer changes mind on an item (say from fries to onion rings) and the fry is changed to onion rings and then the ticket is saved. The fry $ is added to the report when it was never in there as a saved, open ticket. At the end of the day, deleted items is a "construed" amount!

  4. After payment is done. Clover is not able to go to the order and edit, remove, or void from the order.
    We are not talking about the payment done and approved. Just the reporting details side

    Example:
    1 Casamigo = $10
    1 French fries = $5
    1 French fries = $5
    1 casamigo = $10

  5. Clover already collects the hourly sales data and displays it in dashboard, but only for today. We'd like to see trends in sales by hour of the day. But reporting doesn't allow this feature.

    Would like this report to include filter by revenue class. This way our manual payments for maintenance clients or large projects can be separated from the true retail revenue in the brick-and-mortar store.

  7. WE HAVE OVER 30 LOCATIONS WITH YOU!!!! Modifier group items that have a $ value should also have an option to enter the $ value cost. This is essential as this makes it difficult to calculate full inventory costs for the business.

  8. Need to know how to get a report of my inventory that includes the categories of the items which could be sorted by category to give total value of inventory by category.

    Currently there is an option to export inventory and it contains lots of useful information, but the column for 'Category' is non-existent in the export.

    Business owners / Managers need the ability to track inventory value by category (For example, Beer/Wine, Liquor, General Merchandise, Tobacco, etc.) for tax purposes and other reasons.

  9. How do I get a detailed list report of all item sales? I would like to get a detailed list report showing line by line the item, item category, sale date, sale day of week, sale price, tax, tip, payment type, etc.

    This way I could slice and dice the data anyway I want in excel

  10. Merchant is looking to be able to pull a report with all sales in the morning shift and another report for the night report without having to everyday to change the time range or custom date range just to pull a morning and night shift with total sales .

  11. The option to export a .csv of the inventory and sales report is an incredible feature of Clover. One additional boost that would perfect this feature would be an option to schedule an automatic export at a specific time to be sent to an email address.

  14. For the Items Reporting-Merchant is requesting the feature to track the last customers he sold an specific Item and to add the order number to the Items report so he can go directly to the transaction for that Item

  16. In the INVENTORY APP, we are able to track the number of available items in stock for any specific item (we can scan them into inventory using the barcode). I

    If you were to add a COST OF GOODS column to that item, we would then be able to know the assets of those items which we are holding in inventory.

    Being able to total up all our inventory and know the assets sitting in our stockroom is vital to any business!

    Also, having a COST OF GOODS price column, compared to the RETAIL price column, would allow the system…

  17. Need to keep Items that have been deleted from inventory on past Items Sales Reports. You MUST STOP deleting past sales details describing the item that was sold just because we told clover inventory that we are no longer carrying that item(deleted it). Just populating "Sale" as item detail is a big red flag for liquor store. We need to still be able to see item details that were sold in the past even if we deleted the item from our inventory.

  20. Merchants should have the option to take a return or exchange and be given the option to damage out the item and then be able to run a report showing all damaged out items, OR be given the option to simply return an item to inventory.
