Cardholder names included in transaction report export
When exporting transaction report, should include cardholders name
Hello,
Can you please clarify which transaction report your exporting? i.e. Transactions App, Web Dashboard CSV, or something else?
Thanks,

I agree. We have many transactions with the same total amount, coming in multiple sales per minute with the same total. So unless the cardholder is there to tell me the last 4 digits of their card, we can't tell who they are for which means we can't do a refund, confirm a transaction went through, etc. It used to tell us names for some cards, but now for none, and it is an absolute necessity.

Same issue. If any employee using virtual terminal or taking card over the phone on POS forgets to manually type or write customer name, I can find no way to get that information. We are a nonprofit and are legally required to acknowledge gifts for donor's tax purposes, as well as provide receipts for childcare services. If we cannot match customer names with transactions, we will be out of compliance!

I have to enter every transaction into my accounting system by customer name. Your transaction report is not helpful as the only name that appears is the employee who ran the credit card. I need to see the name of the customer in order to enter that info. Otherwise, I would have to enter anything as "anonymous" which will not suffice at all for our nonprofit animal shelter.

Please add cardholder name or customer name to sales reports. This is a must for our office, and will consider moving to another company if we can't get this.

Merchant needs to see cardholder name in Payments detail report in order to reconcile at end of day. They'd like to see it online and when the report is exported.

All doctor offices use a software to hold patient information and when a patient comes in and makes a payment via credit card the front desk must then go in and update the software. If the front desk forgets to input a card payment into the medical software, they have no idea why the batch report and the patient payment reports are not matching. In order to correct that they need to see the card holders first and last name on the transactions report to identify the issue. If the front desk does add the payment to the medical software and puts that payment as cash and it is a card payment the reports again do not match which is an issue within the medical field. The largest part of my portfolio is medical and I have had a lot of issues with our reporting and the difficulty the office staff is having balancing at the end of day due to not enough detail on our reports. A lot of other providers provide this as we do within Business Track however they have to balance before leaving that day and Business Track only updates 24 hrs after the machine batches. We really need this added to reporting in order to retain all of these large medical businesses.
