Export inventory by Category
It would be helpful to be able to export inventory items by category. I would like to be able to select a category, and get a spreadsheet of all the items in that category including their quantity on hand and cost. This would make taking inventory easier.

I realize there is a "categories" tab, but it would be much better to have the category column showing on the "items" tab so we could filter that down by category and see all of the other important information (price, cost, inventory, sku). Please implement!

I completely agree with all of the comments below. It is horrible to try to complete a physical inventory (as REQUIRED) without having this. I would add that it should also be available by Label, as we are forced to use that as the manufacturer for our product lines.

Why would the "category" attribute not be part of the items export spreadsheet?

I agree. Definitely need to be able to export by Category that includes pricing. Would make refilling inventory orders and completing an inventory count a lot easier.

Yes I am having the same issue. All it would take is to add a column to the ITEM tab that shows the category of the item. Then i could create a filter to only see the items in that category.
Yes I know there is a tab for CATEGORY, but that is useless. ADD IT TO THE ITEMS!!!!
