Welcome to the Clover Restaurant Forum. You're here because you are a Clover Restaurant merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Restaurant space.

In order to submit your idea you'll need to give it a Title then select the Category that best matches your idea. Below are brief descriptions of the Clover Restaurant Categories.

Clover Dining: Ideas related to table management and the Clover Dining experience.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

Invoice: Ideas related to Clover’s Invoicing feature.

Kitchen Management: Ideas related to KDS, Kitchen Printers, etc.

  1. Would be really helpful to have revenue classes, printer labels, and tax settings driven at the category level instead of at the item level. So any item created within a category would automatically inherit the category's label, tax, and associated settings.

  3. I have a huge issue with the clover kiosk.
    some of my items has a lots of modifiers and it seems like on the kiosk they make a limit on how many modifires you can have which I think it is a programing mistake because we don't have this issue on the Due station so now my customers can not see all their modifiers options on the kiosk.
    second the All Item option on the kiosk has to be takin offfffffff pleeeeeeease it confuse the customers and it suppose to be just an option for the staff on the due…

  4. In the Items list, I would like to change the default columns to suit the way we do business. Currenty, I have to remove unnecessary columns every time I look at a list. If I could check off what I want the defaults to be that would be a huge time savings.

  6. On the items input screen, I would like a field to record the Vendor. It will help my staff when reordering product to be able to see the Vendor name. Also, I need to run reports by Vendor to keep track of sales and stock quantity.

  7. With the majority of orders coming in from online sources, it is difficult to maintain a good grasp of inventory. My restaurant serves alot of stews which cant be quantified by a number of servings. Being able to have a feature that would allow me to put an item(s) "out of stock" that would pull those items off the online channels (website, delivery companies) for a preset period of time, (2hrs, 4hr, 6hrs, next day) then it would reset to allow them to be available after that period, and easily accessible from the device would be extremely helpful.   8. This is just a simple idea. When you click and hold and item in clover dining, you should be able to input a number of how many of that item is left and when that number goes to zero, it should grey out and appear as out of stock.

  9. When we are beginning to run low on a product, it would be nice to turn off the item online only. A recent update took away the toggle that could disable the item online and now we can only mark it as out of stock across all menus. We'd like to turn off online first since we cannot clearly communicate low stock to online customers.

  20. THE CUSTOM MODIFIER SHOULD HAVE THE OPTION TO ADD PRICE, SAME AS A CUSTOMER ITEM.
    THEY'RE SPECIAL OCCASIONS WHEN CUSTOMERS ASK FOR SPECIFIC ORDERS THAT AREN'T SET MODS AND ITS EASIER TO RING UP THE ORDER WITH A CUSTOM MODIFIER WITH AN OPTION TO ADD PRICE.
