Ability to Add Costs for Modifiers
I have had this request made by a number of my cafe and coffee shop merchants.
It would be extremely helpful for restaurants to get more accurate cost reporting and gross profit margin reporting if Clover could add the ability for merchants to assign a cost to modifiers just like we do for items.
For coffee shops and restaurants every additional protein option, every milk choice for a coffee, flavor syrup pump, etc has a cost to it from an accounting stand point.
Lets say i have a $5 Latte, if I am adding an modifier to that item like oat milk for $0.75, that additional $0.75 has a true cost to it that is currently not being considered in the Clover Item Sales report. We can just roughly up the latte cost but that doesn't accurately reflect all the different modifier options that any given customer can order. Adding a feature for merchants to add the cost of modifiers would allow cost to be considered for any customization of any product the merchant sells
