Note field needed in Payment Link
Please add a note/order/invoice number field to the payment link feature. The information added to the field should also be available when looking at the transaction in the payment details section. How else is the merchant to know what the payment is for?

The virtual terminal
The Clover Virtual terminal should allow invoices to be closed out as paid in cash or check. When one of my businesses sends an invoice, they do not know what payment type the customer will want to use. I should not have to maintain two invoicing systems, and your invoicing system does not allow me to manage it properly.

Custom fields - Hosted Payments Page Enhancements
Is there an update on adding custom fields to the HPP? The support site indicated this enhancement would be coming Q3/Q4 2024, so just checking on the status. At a minimum, the ability to add an "invoice number" field (like what's on the VT) would allow more flexibility for many merchants. Thank you!

Delete Expired Invoices
When an invoice is expired there is no option to delete it. Even support can't delete it. Annoying how I can delete any other invoice, but for some reason the invoices that should be canceled / deleted can't be so I'm not stuck with a certain unpaid balance forever

payment reminder emails
Hello, I have a client who would prefer to not have upcoming reminder emails sent to them. They only want an email sent when the card has been charged. There is not a way to turn this off in your system. It would be nice to have that option for my client.

Update expiration date for recurring payments
Customers that already setup for recurring payments sometimes have an update on their credit card with a new expiration date only. There seems to be no way to apply the update without replacing the card. This requires to call the customer and acquire all of the card information. This is more time consuming that necessary for the customer and myself. This feature was available for Payeezy Gateway. Please consider making this available on Clover Virtual Terminal.

Recurring Billing ability to set transaction time
When a merchant sets up recurring payments, they can set the start date but not the start time. If they want the transaction to be billed at a specific time, is that possible? Or is the billing time random? Or is the time based on the time the recurring payment was set up? Can a start time field be added after the start date?

Update Recurring payments
I hate that with Clover you can not update the recurring payments the day before the payment will be taken because it sends an invoice two days before the payment is due. It is not user friendly. I can not believe that there is not a way to print a report of failed recurring payments. I would take Payezz back in a second.

tax payment link
On the dashboard, in account and setup, under Payment links, it isn't possible for a merchant to add taxes to a payment link, button, or QR code payment. A merchant with the Essential plan, integrated to Quickbooks, cannot sync taxes to quickbooks with payment links. Also, there is no detail about what the customer in buying under payment link. The ''Basic information name'' doesn't show anywhere in the payment link.

Second Invoice Reminder
I often need to send second or even third reminder before invoices are paid. It would be so helpful if multiple reminders could be sent instead of having to create a whole new invoice for a second reminder...or more.

You should be able to see the number of recurring payment transactions and the total prior to the charges being made on recurring payments. I have called them every months and yet nothing changes .

The Hosted Payment Page needs to give the merchant the ability to add one or more customizable fields for the customer to input information into. For example, we have merchants who need to collect invoice numbers to match payments to the correct sale.

Ability to categorize payment links
I think the ability to assign a category to a payment link is crucial. Our high school wants the ability to use payment links for fundraising but currently payment links all show up as "uncategorized". This would prevent us from holding concurrent fundraisers because we would not be able to easily determine who the funds belong to as they would all show as 'uncategorized'.

QR codes to pay and add tip
Ability to have QR Code that a customer can pay and add tip. For example, a ice cream stand that doesn't want Clover devices but wants to be able to accept cc by the customer scanning qr code and an employee will tell them what is owed, the customer then pays with Apple Pay or Google and it prompts for payment with tip.

Rounding cash totals to nearest nickel (symmetrical rounding)
It's mindblowing that Clover has yet to implement a feature to allow for the rounding of cash totals to the nearest penny. The US Mint announced it had ceased minting pennies back in November, and yet Clover won't have a feature to support rounding cash values to the nearest nickel until June.
This feature is CRITICAL to cash transactions across the U.S. as many banks have already stopped stockpiling pennies. This feature should have been available on Jan 1 at the latest.

Pay over Time based on Total - that auto closes when total is paid.
I’d like to offer my customers the ability to pay over time but, instead of as a reoccurring payment, using a total amount.
This way the total amount could be entered;
-their choice of initial payment made, perhaps a % of the total;
-reoccurrence selected as weekly or monthly - on a certain day/date (respectively).Then instead of having a date range to close out the bill, it will automatically when the sum is reached. The benefit being the customer can put down as much as they want initially, and then pay off the rest, which is generally less than…

BNPL is the tool #1 now to engage customer into making purchases. I wonder why Clover doesn't offer a financing option. There is not a single app in the app market either. Please give us options. Find partnerships.
