Tip after payment
My staff and customers are very upset there is not an option to select a tip after the payment option. I have called support and researched it and from your website there seems to be a way to code into the "tipmode" for ONSCREENAFTER_PAYMENT but no one has been able to tell me how to do it. I think it needs to be done on the backend from the dev team. Is there anyway we can make this a possibility? Thank you.

Tips on screen or print out on paper
We provide beauty services. The tips set up is On Printed Receipt. Sometime customer tell to add the tip but there is no way to add the tip until the transaction is printed out. Situation like this, I like to see the sales amount, tip amount, and total printed on the receipt. When I change the tips set up to On Screen, then if customer don't tell then there is no tip line on the receipt and as a result customer can't write any tip and that make a loss to our business. Can Clove do something about this?

Tipping With Emailed Invoices
I would like provide customers with the ability to add a tip on an invoice that is sent to them through email. Currently it allows me to add an order and tip amount. I don't think tips should be forced on anyone in any way and should be totally up to the customer for feeling services exceeded their expectations. Can you please make it so the customer has an option when completing payment on their invoice to add a tip to the total, so that they don't feel pressured and have the option to do so? Would like for the tips to be added to whichever employee starts the order regardless of which employee closes it out. Recently I noticed some of my employees orders tips were going to a different employee when closed out.

Gratuity Permission
Add permissions to gratuity. Employees have ability to add/ remove gratuity. There is no permission at the moment to request a manager code when adding/ removing gratuity.

Adjust Tips after closeout
Recently with newer clover devices and with clover stations we can no longer use the sale app to do tip adjustments.
This means that we miss out on valuable tips if the batch closes before we can get them all in.
Is there a way to make the sale app compatible with all devices or some way to fix this issue.
Right now our only options are toTry running the transaction with the stores postal code ( while never works)

Shared Tip between multiple servers
My restaurant has a banquet space that hosts large parties where multiple servers are assigned to one check. The charged tip, however, will be assigned to only one server. I need to have the ability to share that tip between multiple servers. The server who ends up with the entire tip has overstated tips for their shift and the other server(s) have no tip recorded for their shift. I would request a way to reassign a portion of a charged tip.

QR codes to pay and add tip
Ability to have QR Code that a customer can pay and add tip. For example, a ice cream stand that doesn't want Clover devices but wants to be able to accept cc by the customer scanning qr code and an employee will tell them what is owed, the customer then pays with Apple Pay or Google and it prompts for payment with tip.

Donations (to 501(c)(3) entity) instead of tips
There is currently no way to change the screen in the Clover POS that says
"Tip" to "Donation" on customer receipts. Although my business is a business, we partner with a 501(c)(3) entity and give them 100% of our "tips" because they are not tips, they are donations. When we show the customer the screen, we tell them we do not take tips but ask if they would like to add a donation to the charity that my business partners with. Tip Pooling for Complex Restaurants
We need a tipping features that includes tip pooling and settings based on role number of hours in that role and shift. Ideally we would have something that looks like the following: dishwasher 1 that gets 2% of all tips for the lunch shift. when dishwasher 2 comes in later, they would get 2% of all tips for their shift even if the two shifts overlap, Bartender would get 20% of all drink orders for their specific shift. If a person switches roles during the middle of the shift, their tip percentage would change with their clock out change.

Hello we have problem the waiter is only allowed to order and print reciept ! so when customer goes to pay at the cashier the tip goes to cashier.

Allow tipping on gift card payments
Currently, customers are not able to add a tip when paying with a gift card. This creates friction at checkout, especially for service-based businesses such as restaurants, cafés, and salons where tipping is expected.
Other POS systems allow customers to add a tip using the remaining gift card balance when sufficient funds are available.
We would like Clover to support tipping on gift cards, with the tip deducted from the card balance just like a regular payment.

Transfer Tips to Other Employees
We would like the ability to transfer tips between employees. Each day a server generates tips. This amount is easily located on a report which the server pulls from the Clover POS system at the end of their shift. The server then tips the cook and our bus person with cash. It hardly seems fair that the server pay taxes on the full amount of their tips when they are giving cash to other employees. Remove "None" Option for Tips
Ability to remove the "None" option for tips. Customer can select "custom" and type in $0.00. ****** POS doesn't even have "none" They make you type in $0 in custom. When customers see that as the first option, they automatically think it is okay to not tip.

Add Tip Option on Online/Emailed Invoices
Please add the option for a tip in online/emailed invoices. Currently, a tip can only be added before an invoice is sent. The only way I would know that a catering client would like to add a tip is to ask them before I send an invoice. This feels awkward and unprofessional. Thank you for adding a tip option for customers to select/add their own tip amount online.
