My idea is to create an alert or Alarm system for tips adjustment where our merchants can get disclaimer or alert on system for entering tips before batches closes out {Automatic closeout} For {manual closeout} they will get an alert before the Day finishes{Before Midnight 12 AM As new day starts Merchant will not be able to enter tips in previous day batch.

Benefits of this alert
Our Merchant can enter tips before day finishes and before batches closes out
It will even reduce the Tips adjustments for closed batch and it will even help to reduce the transaction recovery request. It can reduce the fees for manual transactions and lowers the risk of chargebacks.

How that works.
They will get alert or notification twice on their clover device
Before new day starts and before batches closes out so that they can enter the tips and the alert will on main screen irrespective of any application they use it will reflect with countdown time on every application and we will provide them time frame for 90Min and even though if batch closeout time gets updated the countdown for tips alert will be auto updated so that they can enter tips 90Min prior before the batch closes out.

They should even have a toggle option to turn on or off on this alert. So that merchant can opt for the feature as per their requirement.
For Example
If batch is setup to closeout at 10:30PM and Closeout window starts 60Min prior from 9:30PM they will get alert from 8PM and the alert will be on main screen irrespective of any app they open the alert can show them the time left to enter or adjust the tips.
