  2. Restrict Employee access to view items to certain Categories only, instead of ALL ITEMS.
    Would be good if I can setup an employee that only has access to a specific category. As an example, they are going to be selling items at an outdoor event, but they will only have 3 or 4 specific items with them, instead of all 150 of our items. Limiting their view, in this scenario, would make their life easier.

  3. It would be nice if there was some Training Content Available to reseller partners who are more involved in the System Setup. I have contacted the Pre Sales Help desk and they advised that those resources are only available to internal staff.

  4. I run a cheesecake bakery that relies a lot on my online orders. Currently the longest turn around time available is 90 minutes. Cheesecakes take at least 24-48 hour turn around. I know that customers can "schedule" an order for a future time, which most people who think ahead do, so I haven't had too many issues, however there are still customers that place an online order, pay for it and expect to be able to pick it up the very next day or the same day.   6. Why are employees able to create orders without being punched in to the timeclock and why are employees able to pull their checkout report or punch out before all open orders are settled?

  7. Client asked me if Clover or any of our apps has/have Drive Thru AI capabilities now or in the pipeline. He said he heard about/read about automated Drive Thru ordering (non human) to take orders. I googled it and see McDonalds was testing it and may be using, Panera and some other companies, also.   9. I am not a clover user, but we do gather receipts from our reps who travel and purchase meals/coffees. The email receipts they get from shops that use Clover are unusable. Our reps forward email receipts to our receipts management software which auto-reads them and reconciles them to our bank. But Clover receipts are just emails with a link to a receipt, which cannot be forwarded or downloaded/printed/saved. They are useless. We have been emailing every cafe/restaurant that sends us one of these receipts asking them to please consider an alternative to Clover, as it is just such a silly…

  10. Example if a merchant has an inventory item that is set up as per unit we should also have an option to make the modifiers as per unit as well instead of automatically assuming that the modifiers are a fixed price.

    I have a merchant with a business that do catering services and sometimes a customer would order a plate or a salad 500x for a big event, the clover can only do items with fixed prices up to 99x so because of that the merchant changed the item price to per unit to make it easier since the clover…

The problem I have with Clover is that I can't add a delivery fee automatically, you have to do it yourself which isn't efficient in a setting where you are busy and having many phone lines waiting for you. I tried using the tax setting but, every time I add an item the delivery just went up. It would be better if you can add the delivery fee automatically for delivery orders. I don't want to leave clover..

  12. Feature request: Revenue Center Reporting Functionality. Similar concept to revenue class for items, revenue center would have the ability to group certain devices together to form a "revenue center" another option would be to be able to run sales reporting data by "sections" in the Clover dining app. For example, if you have a main restaurant section and a bar section in the basement, would be very useful to have the ability to separate sales and reporting data between the two.

  13. We have an item that comes with 4 sides - I built the modifier. We only offer 3 side options the system won't allow me to select min 4. I did build a work around for it by just adding in two modifiers for each item but its a glitch that should be fixed.

  16. Hello Clover Team!

    Is it possible for Clover to come out with dark mode/dark theme? Many other POS out there have such feature and Clover does not currently offer this. Currently due to my eye condition it is difficult for me to see anything on a white background. I am sensitive to light. The display brightness helps a bit, but lowering the brightness pretty low also makes it difficult to read with the display is too dim. Thus why I am requesting Clover releases Dark Mode feature. Using Dark Mode makes a world of difference for me. Just a lot…

  17. I would like clover to explore making a pos for grocery stores! I have a small grocery store chain that could use the simplicity of clover but with some more robust item maintenance. We use clover at our nursery and we like it a lot! It’s a simple but powerful tool to use. Just hope one day Clover can bless us with more tools to use!

  18. How about instead of hanging up on people calling for quotes and then making them wait for the representatives to finish their new calls, you just have the representative that answered the phone help. The price of your units becomes completely irrelevant when the customer service that is received for asking for a simple quote becomes infuriating. Your system could be free and I wouldn't use it after that experience.

  20. It will be very useful to have the option to include a note (like a RETURN POLICY ) on the screen so the customer can see it before signing the receipt to help avoid charge backs.
