Bulk Editing
Need to add SHOW ON POS to the bulk editing option.
Also need to be able to hid categories too with the bulk editing option.
I had to go into each item and check off the ON POS toggle.
And all the categories still show on my handhelds but there's no items showing.

"Order Now" button on Instagram Profile support for Clover
There are a lot of services that are able to do this with Instagram, but not Clover. It would be nice to have an order now button that led to the online ordering menu.

Security Enhancements for employees with clover.com access
1) Have login notifications. i.e.: Every time a user logs onto the virtual terminal (clover.com), an email notification will be sent to the email address on file to alert them of a logon.
2) Allow IP lockdowns. i.e.: Certain user can only login from certain IP addresses - e.g.: from work only. This ensures that no one is logging on from home, etc.
3) Login Logs. i.e.: So the employer can see who and when users logged in. e.g.: "Hi Johnny what was the reason you logged into clover at 2:34am on Sunday?"4 votes -

Clover needs a separate forum section for application bug submissions that don't require users to vote for the bug to be fixed.

Clover Care needs to be available even for devices that have been re-provisioned
It was brought to my attention that a Clover Device cannot be protect with Clover Care when the device has been re-provisioned. This needs to change. I had a merchant that used a Clover for 2 months and then closed down and I was stock with getting another merchant into this Clover but didn't have the option to have this device protect with Clover Care even though it was within the time frame. Please change this policy.

Turn off the Manual key entry
Enable and disable manual key entry feature. I would like to turn it off so we can’t accept that option but sadly by default that option stays on.

Do the right thing
How about an ethical program for taking barely used hardware back for reprogramming? My business went under and to my understanding resale is not possible due to programming limitations. So this beautiful system becomes landfill! SMH

Hire staff that will call people back when they click the Call Me Back button
I tried using Support Call Me Back 4 or 5 times yesterday and a couple times this morning.

Restrict employees viewable items to specific categories
Restrict Employee access to view items to certain Categories only, instead of ALL ITEMS.
Would be good if I can setup an employee that only has access to a specific category. As an example, they are going to be selling items at an outdoor event, but they will only have 3 or 4 specific items with them, instead of all 150 of our items. Limiting their view, in this scenario, would make their life easier.3 votes -
Error messages that tell you what the problem is so you do not have to call support
Error message that actually tell you what the problem is so you do not have to contact support.
Example: Everytime I tried to add an image to an inventory item, it would just say ERROR when I tried to save, with no further explanation. After spending 30-minutes on hold waiting for support, they told me I had to turn Online Ordering ON in order for the image to save.
It would have been nice to have an error message that said "Error: can not save image because online ordering is not turned on."3 votes -
Change who gets tip and option to split tips
When an order being paid before its closed there should be an option to leave the tip to the person that opened the order (waitress or bartender). Many times people eat and stand up and pay at the bar or ask another waitress they want to pay and the person that opened the order loses their tip. I have a few restaurants that have this issue. There should be an option to be able to choose who gets the tip and to split it also.

A category is good for specific time for happy hours
To bring more customers to the business, owner should be able to set a category of the discount items only good from a specific range of time, i.e., Lunch special from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Instead of going to the "categories" and click to disable "Available" one by one.

Why are employees able to ring orders when not punched in and able to clock out without all orders being closed out
Why are employees able to create orders without being punched in to the timeclock and why are employees able to pull their checkout report or punch out before all open orders are settled?

Clover Dashboard Welcome Screen: Currently, the owner's name shows up next to Welcome on the main page of Clover Dashboard. Please add a feature to change this in a way that the merchant's can see their DBA name next to Welcome.

Back button in split payments
BACK BUTTON. New Clover user here, about 2 months in. Staff comes to me multiple times a day stuck in the payment screen. We have to comp that ticket and make a new one and hopefully they remember to put "do not make" so the kitchen doesn't make the food again. Our customers check out at the front register after eating. We split them up by guests. If one pays, we can't go back if the second guest wants to add a cookie or use a discount code. This holds up the line and makes reporting a bit messy.

Delivery Fee automatically add when you press delivery button
The problem I have with Clover is that I can't add a delivery fee automatically, you have to do it yourself which isn't efficient in a setting where you are busy and having many phone lines waiting for you. I tried using the tax setting but, every time I add an item the delivery just went up. It would be better if you can add the delivery fee automatically for delivery orders. I don't want to leave clover..

Layaway Feature!
Currently, one of our retailer clients is using the orders app (“split amount”, then “pay more later”) as their layaway feature. Amongst a few flaws with this process, one major flaw is that it is not a true layaway feature, and the layaway should last more than 90 days!

Customizable delivery fees that can be saved to customer profiles
Merchant would like to be able to add a customizable delivery fee such as $2, $3, $5 to different customer profiles and be able to automatically add that delivery fee amount to those customers orders.

HIPAA compliant register
Having a HIPAA compliant register would be beneficial for clients wanting to access the full potential of the Clover systems. A register that meets these standards makes the customer and employee experience much better. As it is now, our staff has to input the same information into 3 points of sale to complete one transaction. I would like to simplify this process by having access to the register component. Please get the software HIPAA compliant for the register so we can move forward.
