  1. On future generations of Clover Flex terminals suggest moving the position of the ON/Off button. Here is the feedback from several merchants: when passing the terminal for payment many customers prefer to pick up the terminal when entering PIN or inserting card and often accidentally turn off the terminal. This is very annoying in a fast paced environment.

  4. The new interface on our flex 2 is nice and clean. But, with the new interface clients often push "done" and we have to go back through the menus to print our receipt.
    The "done" button is too inviting. Would like "done" to not be highlighted and instead say "return to clerk" or something similar with highlighting. The done or print buttons should stay available.
    Receipts are easy to retrieve but still additional work.

  7. Customer payment receipts on the Flex 3 are way too long. Would like to see the option to have them shorter so we are not using so much paper

  8. Customers have figured out that they can back out of a card transaction and select cash so are stealing product when they hand back the device and server believes the order is paid. Therefore, we'd like to be able to disable tender types (specifically cash) from the device.

  9. As owners of the account, we do not want our employees to have access to certain unnecessary apps, such as the calculator, camera, clock, gallery and sound recorder. We have over 70 merchants, with many of them using the Clover Flex devices. With the previous v3 Flex devices, we has the ability to disable these apps. Two weeks ago, in fact, we were could disable the apps from a new device we distributed to a merchant. However, yesterday, we were not able to do so. I called Clover customer service and they were also not able to disable the apps.…

  10. often times merchants misplace their Clover Flex especially when there are multiple units that are handled. Then there are times when they are stolen.
    Clover ought to consider anti theft mechanism (loud audible alarm or temporary GPS that is activated once and then must be reset)
    call it "AFTER The Flex" Anti Flex-Theft Emergency Response
    Another consideration is to have a live voice response when the unit is detected as off pre-validated premises

  11. Flex gen 3 goes into a thanks for visiting screen in which you have to tap to finish the transaction, can there be a setting to bypass this screen?

  12. Can you guys add back the option where we can see the time on the flex so we can know how long the order has been open and how long the guest has been seated its the best option that was on it please put it back on it trust me it helps alot thank you

  13. Clover Flex needs the table mapping of clover dining instead of a list. The list of numbers is overwhelming to the eye. The server can't memorize the numbers easily. The visual on the station and mini helps much more than the flex.

  14. It would be nice if the Clover Flex would be able to connect to ethernet. On the device, it shows it as an option but there is no port for an ethernet cable.

  15. It would be great to be able to customise the keyboard settings to enable the user to include a separate number row at the top of the keyboard rather than having to hard press the top row of the keyboard to access numbers. This would be similar to other android devices.

  16. I would like to see other options for SIM card providers. AT&T doesn't have a good connection everywhere so having the option for other mobile carriers would allow for more merchants to use the SIM option.

  17. Not asking for verification on a duplicate transaction that happened days/weeks previously.

    We are finding with the new update our flex is now asking at random times to verify that this duplicate transaction is okay. The thing is, it’s the first time a customer is paying today. It’s confusing for staff and customers who assume they will be charged twice.

    I understand the need for verification of the transactions are on the same day/similar timing. But if I have people that only come once a month, I don’t need to be selecting one of these options.

  18. I need to export list of our items that includes the "category" attribute. When I export the inventory from the dashboard i am not seeing the category column.
    Why would the "category" attribute not be part of the items export?

  19. Please find a way for the Clover Flex to connect to the Station Duo printer. There should be NO NEED for a merchant to buy a separate bar printer when the Duo printer can be used at the bar.
