Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Devices and Hardware. Please share your ideas for how we can update our hardware to improve merchant and customer experiences at the point of sale. We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

  1. Need better way to secure higher level access roles at the device. Four and six digit pin have been easily discovered. For those roles can we make the primary to facial recognition and the PIN only if facial has issues via 2FA to email for that role?

  2. When the internet goes down at a merchants location that has several Clover stations, it would be great if the stations could communicate with each other over their LAN connection. When my bars lose internet the customers can only order drinks at the same exact Clover station where they opened their tab. And they can only close out at that same station as well. I have a bar that has 10 Clover station solos and the customers order from different spots all the time.

    Or I have a restaurant where the server drops off the ticket at the table and…

  3. merchant is asking for the feature to be removed or placed at the end of a transaction where it makes a sound to say the payment was successful. States that it is causing confusion for his workers and customers, when t makes the sound, they think the payment is successful and the business is losing money as sometimes it does not go through.

  4. Display how much money change customer will receive on contactless reader so they are also aware, which can minimize discrepancies.

  5. Online Ordering currently only notifies via email for Scheduled Orders, and Merchant would like to set it so ALL Online orders will send an email notification as just printing to the Clover Mini is not enough as their is no sound associated with the incoming Online order, Merchant either wants the ability to setup an email to notify this or to have the device to provide a sound that an online order has come through.

  6. Recently while troubleshooting some missing payments and menu item's it was discovered that the Clover Network Queue in Diagnostics has some issues. This could present a large issue for a client who doesn't notice this and could lead to possible loss in transactions.

  7. Please include setting to print to the kitchen by category. Salad’s together fry’s together burgers together and so on. Two tickets per order 1 by category for the kitchen staff and the 2nd for servers to put it all together for guests

  8. We need the ability to alarm kitchen staff when a new order ticket is printed. The kitchen staff cannot constantly stare at the order ticket printer. So many POS/Printers offer the ability or at least a plug-n-play peripheral to make sound, however Clover chose not to build the feature to send signal to printer to make sound. This feature should have been there from the start considering how helpful it is to ensure orders are started timely. Please Please Please make this happen for the thermal order ticket printer.

  10. Clover Dining OCCUPIED Tables need to be a DARKER Color.
    They currently change to a light grey, which you cannot see on the Mini, so you don't know what tables are taken & have open tabs.

  11. Alarm for COO orders needs to be louder and more persistent coming from the Clover device as employees are not hearing the order coming thru

  12. On the comments, when it says it's planned...there never is any mention of when to expect a change. I also don't recalling getting any update notification when updates are being made to Clover's functionality.

  13. Merchants need a way to create an invoice directly from a clover terminal , as well as the ability to create itemized invoices from all terminals, including the virtual terminal.

  14. It would be great if you can add prices on Kitchen receipt and the full total and tax because the bill receipt is in small letters and you can't change the size like how you can change the front size for the kitchen receipt but can't with the bill receipt.

  15. Provide a running TOTAL sales for open orders on ORDERS app. Owner has to manually add up sales on open orders in order to see accurate sales reporting by hour, not just paid/closed out orders.

  17. A small business owner requested that the Font Size be able to be modified. When asked why, I was informed that in the evening the restaurant turns the lights lower. This makes being able to read the text harder. It would be easier if it was scalable.

  18. A couple years ago Clover offered a merchant keypad to connect to the Mini to have it stay customer facing and allow employees to type the $ amount on the little keypad. Merchants loved that set up. For some reason you got rid of it. Merchants dont like having to turn the device around or buy a whole other mini. That would be great to bring that back or make a PIN pad that can always stay customer facing like the FD35 or RP10.

  19. When closing out my batch it prints batch totals to all devices. Want option to close out all devices but only print batch on one device

  20. Keyboard is affected by syncing on the device . When the device syncs while using the keyboard it would default the keyboard to letters or will just not take the input for a brief period of time. This happens on rare occasions but has been seen on first station and station 2018 specially when looking for items on the inventory.
