Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Customer Engagement Features. Please share your ideas for how we can update our Clover software to improve customer experiences, increase traffic, and retain loyalty for merchants. Specifically, this forum should only include ideas about built-in functions on the Clover Dashboard (feedback on customer engagement apps should be included in the Apps/App Marketplace forum). We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

  4. I suggest that when a merchant is entering a phone number, to prevent duplicating the phone number in the system, or when entering a new customer with an existing phone number can be prevent it by the system as already exist.

  5. We understand that their name does appear in the notes section of the order tab but often times, we need to use that area for notes and not the customer name.

  6. Nowadays, we face many customers that are scamming or take advantage in many ways. Customers app should include information if we decide not to serve or warning for these return customers who keep complaining or do many tricks on us. When we add customer, this information will need to pop up!

  7. Phone numbers are added to customer file with dashes but would like to search without having to enter the dashes. Basically have a pattern search auto insert dashes .... example: 4127891234 and have it show as 412-789-1234 and search for number with dashes for match.

  10. When looking at the customer list on clover.com, I want to be able to sort alphabetically through my customers but there is no way to do this

  13. Merchant is wanting a feature from clover to have the capability to import customers from other POS systems. Merchant is also wanting to be able to look up customer using an ID instead of the name.

  14. One merchant called in looking for a way to filter his customers by transactions - if we could get a new filter added to the Transaction page this would allow merchants to track successful/unsuccessful payments per customer without having to check each individually

  15. Have a way to export spreadsheet for customer app customers including the price customers pay for items.

  16. Clover go needs to be able to input customer info: name, email, phone number, etc. This is super important for marketing and follow-up, and I can't believe you left this important function out.

  17. It is extremely annoying to have 2 customer profiles after they have purchased items, and also set up a membership online

  18. there needs to be a way to turn off the automatic retrieval of customer names from credit cards. All it does is add useless information to the customer list and make using that feature impossible.

  19. Other systems allow customers to use a barcode for an employee to search their profile in the system. It would be very helpful if the barcode scanner, (built in or USB) would be able to be an authorized input device within the Customers App.
