Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Customer Engagement Features. Please share your ideas for how we can update our Clover software to improve customer experiences, increase traffic, and retain loyalty for merchants. Specifically, this forum should only include ideas about built-in functions on the Clover Dashboard (feedback on customer engagement apps should be included in the Apps/App Marketplace forum). We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

  1. Other systems allow customers to use a barcode for an employee to search their profile in the system. It would be very helpful if the barcode scanner, (built in or USB) would be able to be an authorized input device within the Customers App.

  4. I would really love to add an open/closed button under each customer's name so that we can tell whether a customer has an open order.

  5. We are seeing duplicate customer in the customer file. I suspect that there is a sync issue between the customer file, rewards, & text/email receipts. We can manually add a customer on the back end, but when they sign up for rewards it creates a new customer record. On transactions where we have a validated customer, if we select to email/text them a receipt it prompts us to re-enter phone number/email address which creates yet another duplicated customer record. How do we keep our customer file 'uncluttered' with duplicates?

  6. I would like to send my customers a birthday coupon for each month. So if there is a way to group just the birthdays for one month to send to only those customers that one month. Like January birthdays could be pulled up and send a mass text to just those customers with a Happy Birthday message and a coupon. Then month to month for the year. I do have my customers set up on the reward program so I do collect their birthday information each time they sign up. Thanks!!!

  7. First Notify Customers that clover is in offline mode before processing payments. This enables customers to resolve connectivity issues
