Employees should not be able to access device if not clocked in
Merchant does not want to have his employees access the device or access any functionalities if they are not clocked in
Many merchants have requested to have employees clock in first and restrict the usage of the POS if they have not clocked in. This will save their payroll team time in fixing issues with homebase and editing and creating less human error on the payroll which help decrease any operational loss.
Please add to restrict employees from running sales or using Register or Clover Dining if not clocked in on HOMEBASE OR SHIFTS

Yes. This is so important. Less than honest employees can really mess things up.

Currently the Shift app has a setting to "Prompt clocked out employee to clock in upon login", but this can be bypassed and the employee can use the register. There is no way to see if any sales were entered unless the clock in time is manually changed to an earlier time.
