Since this issue has not been addressed/resolved it is still an issue for retail merchants who take an exchanged item only to replace for an item with different price point.

Since Clover only offers to exchange item in Orders app for another item with same price point, this is causing issues for merchants inventory and time spent correcting issue to satisfy customers.

Ongoing since 2019, it may be time to address.

Merchant would like to be able to exchange an item that costs more or less than the item being exchanged.

We are having a very difficult time adjusting to returns and exchanges on the Clover POS. We need negative items available on "Register" so we are able to handle promotional sales we do occasionally as well as exchanges towards the purchase of new product. Please advise. Thank you.

This will help eliminate all the time it takes to refund onto GC then re-ring up new transaction. Please add a search bar and scanning ability too!

Please allow for merchant to exchange items with different values. It would be nice too if when exchanging items you could scan the items instead of having to scroll to find them.

We have several retail stores and would love this capability. It's a hassle trying to issue a credit then re-ring in a new sale.

Please allow for merchant to ring up a customer, allowing returns and exchanges to show up on the same transaction from Register. This will allow a way more seamless, fluid process. Thank you.

Please see below: Note: using gift cards as a workaround is costly, time consuming, cost the merchant money, and the current clover app doesn't update inventory properly when doing an exchange.

100% this needs to happen. Please fix Clover. This is essential to our business.

PLEASE allow to exchange items for other items with a different value. It makes little to no sense why this is not doable, especially in a retail setting. Makes the checkout process much more timely which in turn hurts flow through our shop.
