    I agree completely with this. Most of the time, our merchants have a manager that handles the chargeback process and the owner does not. Clover should grant access to the dispute process to other users through their permissions under employee setup. This should be an easy fix and is needed.

    Why in the world hasn't Clover worked on this? There are over 50 other suggestions in this site asking for the exact same thing. Clover needs to type the word "exchange" into this site and see how many others have requested this exact same thing. I sell Clovers and everytime a retail store asks me if they should get Clover, I tell them NO. It is not good if they do exchanges. If Clover had this like other Retail softwares do, then I could sell and support Clovers to tons of retail stores. Please get your software team to add this most basic funtionality to Clover. And make it to where you don't have to use "gift cards" to add value to make the exchange. That is absurd.

    This is being requested in multiple places. Clover...please type in Exchange in the search bar and see how many merchants have requested this functionality over the past few years.

    Clover....can you update us on this one??? It is costing my merchant $300 per month in gift card activations to be able to handle "exchanges" for different priced items. They are going to leave and go to another POS if Clover can't figure this simple retail store operation out. Let me know if you need help figuring this out. I can't sell any more Clovers to retailers until this gets done. Thanks!

    I have installed Clover Station at some retail stores and they AGREE that the worst part of clover for a retail store is that it can't process and exchange correctly. Every other retail software can handle this, but Clover can't. Unfortunately, it means that my ISO office has completely stopped marketing Clover to retail stores until this gets fixed.

    1) Customer comes into store and buys a large blue shirt for $100. They gave the shirt to someone as a birthday present.
    2) Customer that received the shirt comes back into store and needs to exchange the shirt for a different shirt that is a different prices. They don't like the blue shirt and they don't fit into a large. So they want to exchange the large blue shirt for Medium Red button down shirt that is $150.
    3) Clover should add the large blue shirt back into inventory, and have a credit on the sale screen for $100, and then ring up the $150 medium red shirt in Clover, taking the medium red shirt out of inventory, and prompting the clerk that an additional $50 needs to be paid.

    Done! That is all Clover needs to do.

    Please add this ASAP as our current merchants are demanding this, and then we can start selling Clover Stations to retailers again.

    Note: using gift cards as a workaround is costly, time consuming, cost the merchant money, and the current clover app doesn't update inventory properly when doing an exchange.

    Please have Clover dev team or support contact me directly if they want some case studies so that this can be easily and quickly added to Clover.

    When is Clover going to add a VOID button so that a transaction can be voided anytime before the batch closes? Just like every cc machine that has ever existed.

    This is VERY important. Clover, please consider this request. First Data's own cc machines like the FD130 can do this. Right now, the Clover only lets a merchant void the transaction right after taking the sale. They have to press the VOID button before pressing the DONE button. If they don't do that, they have to go to the TRANSACTIONS app and click on the transaction and then click the REFUND button. It seems if they do this within 15 minutes of the original sale, it actually treats it like a void. But if they do this hours later, but before they batch closeout at the end of the day, it will only refund.

    Merchants all expect to be able to VOID a sale anytime during the day as long as the batch has not been closed out yet.

    As a bar or restaurant owner that can add items and prices to the menu ffrom the Dashboard, but can't set prices for Happy hours without being in front of the Clover Station is ridiculous. Please make the happy hour pricing viewable from the dasbhoard.

    this seems like it is being requested many times! Clover, please do a search in this portal for Exchange and you will see how many merchants are requesting this.

    Agreed 100%. Sold a bar two Clover Stations and had to take them back because of this very thing. They went back to their old Point Of Sale.

    Clover needs to look at how other leading POS systems for bars and restaurants handle reports for shift changes between day shift and night shift.

    They should not have to go to the Reporting app and manually change the "Clock thingy" every day and every shift from the default.

    Clover, please contact me directly if you have any questions or need a case study.

    If we get this added, I will be able to install a chain of bars (12 locations with 2 stations each.).

    Clover....please add this functionality to the Clover Online Ordering.

    A popular restaurant that uses online ordering has reached out to my office mulitiple times asking about this.

    This is what the owner said "The online ordering setup for specific menus lacks a clock specific function and requires the user to manually change what menus are available and when. It would be much more streamlined if specific menus could be set to open and close based on the time of day.

    Feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any questions or need more info on this request. It would be very helpful to all Clover restaurants going forward.

    The comment from Clover only addresses the times that online ordering is turned on.....not the items that could be turned on every day for breakfast, and then different menu items for lunch, and then different items for dinner. The merchant should not have to login every day at those times and check off the different items. It should be rule based for each day!

    I am tyring to setup clover stations for bar with 10 locations but can't get past the pricing issues! They have day prices and night prices and have daily "special prices". don't want to put items in inventory 3 different times....don't want to use the happy hour app that shows the line as a discount and can't be managed through the dashboard....and still have issues with 3rd party app called Price Adjuster. Email me if you need a case study for having different prices. Sounds like retailers, restuarants, and bars want this feature ASAP.
