Open tab/order transfer option in Register or Orders app.
As a bar with no table service, I use the Register app, and there needs to be an option to transfer open tabs between employees at shift change.

my idea was combined with this but my request was different. Currently there is a way to transfer between server but my request was: if server # 2 is helping server #1 close/pay for their open ticket, they tend to use their own number because they have no access to their server #1 number. however when this is done, the tip is transferred to server #2 and they get the tip instead of the existing server.

An open order should be able to be transferred to an incoming employee. We use this as a tab and when another person comes on they can't see the open order. No employee can see anther employees transactions, that's how the owner wants it, because of that we need the ability to transfer an open order to an incoming employee.

If a fellow server is helping close an open order, the tip transfers to him/her. This is not acceptable to servers, since they worked the whole process to serve this table/guest.

Hey Clover, I see you have not fixed this yet and it has been almost a year. It seems absurd that we would have to refund a customer and then recharge to fix an internal label. Are you going to make us vote for such a basic change?

owning a salon is hectic, yet alone trying to fix common mistakes. I'm currently new to the clover system and the other day i spent two hours fixing this problem with my employees. it creates misunderstandments between them in their reporting. I as the owner, would love to be able to change a common mistake especially in the retail and commission world. I would

Ability to reassign a completed Transaction
Merchant would like the ability to reassign a sale to another employee after the sale has been completed. -

I agree. Friday lunch, we usually have 30-50 open tables or tabs that need to be manually transferred.

Merchant would like to be able to move a payment between employee even after pay. If an employee accidentally takes the payments under their name, merchant would like a way to move the paid order to the correct employee for reporting purposes and tip purposes.

In Clover Dining, tips should be assigned to the server that opens the order.
In situations where employee A creates the order and employee B takes payment in Clover Dining, employee A should receive the tip.
IF employee B opens the order from the Orders app and then takes payment, employee B will receive the tip.
If you have experienced a situation where employee B receives tip and the payment was made in Clover Dining, then please send an email to cloverdining@clover.com with the steps you took and the device that was used.
Thank you,
Clover Dining Product Team

It would be great if there was a way to transfer all the tables in a section, and/or all of the bar and more tabs. This would really help my staff when we are switching over to the night bartender from the day, as well as when servers have been cut.

If one employee closes out an order for another employee, the tip transfers over to the new employee. That shouldn't happen unless the order is physically transferred from one to the other.
