Better way to attached a credit card to a guest for bar tabs etc.
Our biggest setback with bars/restaurant's with reception venues is the ability to keep good bar tabs. Competitive POS systems allow for a quick scan of the credit card to open and create the tab and then run the total at the end of the night in the event the customer is a flight risk to leave out on their tab. How can we make this better for those businesses?

When using the running tabs feature for tableside ordering with QR codes... it should require the customers credit card information to start a tab. Right now, the customer can scan a QR code at the table and fire any menu item to the kitchen and leave without paying. If it required a card, the customer could start a tab, order food and drinks tableside.... and an employee can pull up the tab from any device. In the POS world, it is often called "Store & Forward". This is the perfect setup for bars, breweries, and any casual dining experience. Needed ASAP to help compete with Toast.
