Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Reporting Functions. Please share your ideas for how we can update our Clover reporting software to help merchants run their business more effectively. Specifically, this forum should only include ideas surrounding built in reporting functions. We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.

1. Reporting Functionality: Ideas here should explicitly focus on the practicality and usefulness of Clover’s reporting feature. Is it easy to customize filters? Is the frequency at which reports generated sufficient?

2. Reporting Tips, Taxes, and Service Charges: This category should distinctively include all feedback regarding Clover reports producing intelligence on tips, taxes, and service charges.

  1. Need to be able to select to recieve and email or text of each transaction when it happens, just like if you send an invoice to someone you get notified they paid it.

  2. I have to see the Notes section of every past paid invoice to be able to see which events they've registered for. If I could have a custom report that exported to Excel with the Customer Name, Date, Amount Paid and Notes section (which shows exactly what dates they purchased), I could easily check this data without going back manually through every order receipt (which is the only way to see the Notes section now).

  3. Reports should add up correctly. You should be able to filter it for what you need. But the issue at the moment is the totals on the reports don't add up and we spend days trying to reconcile and balance so we can do taxes. Please fix this ASAP i think a lot of business need this.

  4. I am looking for a report that will provide the following in a single report by item:
    1. Item name
    2. item price next to it
    3. sales tax amount related to the item. If item is Non Taxable it should reflect zero tax next to it.
    There are not reports in in clover that shows this information. I just spent 3 hours on the phone, and went up to a supervisor level and the best that they could do is send me to this site to put a request, and maybe get a resolution in the future. Assuming it…

  5. When running Sales Overview reports there needs to be a way to choose multiple employees at once to export, so they are in one file and separated into different tabs. Currently I have to run individual reports for each employee then combine them into one Excel spreadsheet so they're on their own tabs.

Me and my friends have been using Clover for a couple of years now, the only thing we didn't satisfy is the service plan kept increasing over a year without notifying the user, or explaining why is there an extra fee, what the extra functionality does Clover offer to the us that the service plan just keeps increasing over a year. Because if the plan keeps increasing the end of this year or next year. I would likely cancel and just use the other POS systems with a fixed monthly service fee.   7. It would be helpful if we had the option to sort alphabetically. I need to input the sales by device into a spreadsheet and the card types aren't always in the same order.

  8. For clients using TeleCheck ICA on Clover, we need to provide a decline code for failed transactions. My client McCoy's used Payeezy for TeleCheck, and they were able to see the decline codes in Payeezy. Since they converted to Clover Gateway, they can no longer view these decline codes in the Dashboard. This is a critical loss of function they really need to manage their customer service experience.

  9. WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO SORT THE TRANSACTION BY PAYMENT DATE AND TIME. THEY CURRENTLY ONLY SORT BY DATE AND IT DOES NOT SORT BY TIME.

  10. CLOVER INTEGRATION WITH UBER EATS

    Multiple selections
    Can customers select the options more than once?

    UBER EATS OFFERS THE OPTION TO CUSTOMIZE THE RULES OVER THE CHOICE OF AN EXTRA ITEM, BUT CLOVER DOES NOT.

    THIS MEANS THAT MY CLIENTS CANNOT SELECT MORE THAN 1 TIME AN EXTRA. IT ONLY WORKS IF I ENTER EVERYDAY AT EATS MERCHANT AND ACTIVATE THE OPTION OF "How many times can customers select any single option?"

  11. Currently when a merchant inputs data into the "Note for item or service" field, this data passes to the cardholder. However, the data does NOT flow through to the merchant's reporting. I have a client who inputs the date of the event for their catering invoices in this field. When they go back later to tie the transaction to an event, they are unable to do so because the Note field in blank in the reporting.

  12. The sales report is displaying on the home screen of clover device. And our merchant don't want that. Could you please find a way to remove or hide it from the home screen.

  13. The Gift Card transactions have recently been added to the "Sales By Card Type" Report. That is not a problem. However, the gift card redemption total is also being added into the Closeout Total for the day. The gift card money was collected when the card was purchased - not used. It should not be added into the Closeout Total. The closeout total with the gift card amount then does not match the deposit amount. It's an extra hassle for a retailer with multiple gift cards being redeemed daily.

  15. The merchant would like a feature to allow individual user id to pull reports that only show what that individual user id has captured in sales. We are an academic institution with certain levels of information (donors) that we don't want student employees seeing. However still want the students to have access to the reporting function. So we need them to be able to pull reports but have certain information blocked out to their specific account reports

  16. It would be nice if the service charge would be able to be in the expected deposit totals at the bottom of the POS printed sales report. As this is what we use to balance our register daily. If other companies don't distribute service charges daily, is it something that could be an option? BTW...thank you for taking service charges out of revenue!!!!

  17. Bring back reporting features ASAP. The ability to produce year to date and year end reports is vital. Now you can not even request a report. This is an important feature. It's not like you can cut and paste 3 months at a time in a report like "Item sales Report". PLEASE BRING THIS BACK ASAP!

  19. The current Close Out menu under Finance currently shows us the daily transaction amount that goes to the Bank. When you click to see the details, it shows summary per card. That has not been helpful. We need this to show the customers whose transaction cleared to the Bank every day. So we will see total Closeout for the day and when we click on the total amount it gives us the customers that make up that total. Kindly help create this report.

  20. On the Clover Dashboard Reporting, a restaurant or retail may have multiple managers for one store or location, after an item is printed and then an item is removed from an order, we need to see a report of who approved the deleted item and who is doing the most deletion items after printing or firing items. Currently it shows the employee of the order but not who approved or overriden the printed items when managers have the permission to do so.
