IRS requires auto grats/service charges to be included in REVENUE. While many of you may give to the employee, treating as a tip is illegal. DO NOT CHANGE. I don't need an audit.

This is a major issue for restaurants --- setting should allow the restaurant to include whether or not to add to server tips

This works, but it doesn't deduct from the Cash they owe the house at the end of their shift.

The service change should have an option to be a gratuity/tip so it will show up on the "Cash Deposit" or on the "Sales Summary" as a non taxable item but as a tip/gratuity. This should be include on the "Shift Reports", "Cash Deposit" and "Sales Summary" as a separate line but should be treated like a gratuity/tip.

Merchant would also like to have a feature deduct the service charges from money the house owes to the employees, since they give the employees the service charges for the night.

This is an important enhancement. Auto-Gratuity is easily handled with the Service Charge feature in Clover... but the money collected for this gratuity is not reflected in the reporting for server tips at the end of the day.
