We are a brewery that sells many merchandise items, clothing, hats, sweatshirts, glassware etc. Of the items we sell: beers, cans of to-go beer, glassware, signs, growlers etc. we can add an inventory number to the item, which subtracts from the inventory when we sell that item. This works perfectly for our inventory tracking, showing the total number of the items still in inventory after each day.

    For clothing items this system is not helpful or useable as it will show the number of total shirts, not what is needed, the inventory number of each different size of the shirts.…

  3. The Clover does not allow for more advanced searching capabilities such as plu for grocery stores which is crucial for business with large inventory and bulk inventory. When My merchant searches let's say 222 it comes up with all items that have 222 in them and the grocery store assistant has to scroll down forty plus options to get to the item. My merchant told me a 20 year old dos pos can do it so a 20th century pos should be able to do it at bare minimum. This is going to lose you business and needs to be…

  4. add option to hide any single or multiple buttons on the print/email receipt screen after transaction. also the ability to set a limit on how many times the print button will print a receipt. (10 presses results in 10 printed receipts) Currently there is only the option to not display the screen or display the screen.

  6. the authorization on the mobile ap being the same phone number as the computer/desktop platform is not acceptable because the computer that will be at the store will not be with the phone (with the card reader) that will be at a fair. and the fair will WAY too loud to hear a phone ring to be tending to the needs of the store. not to mention leaving customers to take a phone call is rude. so either the store will not be able to use the computer platform or the fair will not be able to take payments. we…

  7. the recurring payment feature would be great except that the customer receipt gives them the option of removing their card information from their customer profile, thereby cancelling the whole process and making this a non-option for our equipment rental transactions.

  10. I have only one device. For years, I could simply tap on a “description” of the service I was charging for. It automatically generated the category and the price. The feature was free. When I heard that I would no longer be “grandfathered” in at that free level, I was informed that I could still have the feature if I upgraded to “essentials”. Truthfully the increase to $14.95/month or approx $180/year is not worth the feature. Because I can certainly “spell out” the service in text as an option.     My idea is that the login should actually log you in instead of taking you to the login page again.

  13. I would like to be able to accept payments from both iphone and android when using QR codes. It is very odd to have to inform the customers that if they want to use this convenient feature it is limited to only one type of smartphone. We are in a Lake Tahoe and we see a ton of tourists. Having to explain this is very redundant and sometimes very challenging when not everyone speaks English. Please update!! Thank you

  14. Currently modifiers don't roll up into cost of goods sold. Example: Steak dinner.

    Primary selection NY steak COGS $11.

    Modifiers of potato, salad, salad dressing, the cost of goods sold for these three modifier groups don't roll up into overall cost for the steak meal.

    Result in higher gross margin which is inaccurate.

  15. We would love to be able to track where customers are coming from. Maybe there can be an option to enter a zip code when a customer is making a sale. Or even tracking from the zip code connected to a credit card sale.

  16. My staff and customers are very upset there is not an option to select a tip after the payment option. I have called support and researched it and from your website there seems to be a way to code into the "tipmode" for ONSCREENAFTER_PAYMENT but no one has been able to tell me how to do it. I think it needs to be done on the backend from the dev team. Is there anyway we can make this a possibility? Thank you.

  17. In the order screen, there is nothing to tell the server which order is the one they are looking for. There is no table number nor anything about the subject matter of the order. If we could add a column stating this information it would be greatly appreciated. If necessary, you could replace the column labeled ID/Notes as these numbers are simply gibberish (no offence intended) to us at this end of your system.

  18. During shift change between my AM Barmaid and my PM Barmaid there is about a 30-45 min overlap in which they are both behind the bar. The AM Barmaid is closing out her customers getting them to pay their bill while the PM Barmaid is taking on all of the new customers who have just walked in. Nobody at this end of your system wants two sets of hands in the till because it opens us up for problems and lots of finger pointing when the numbers don't agree with the end of shift report.   19. While you can edit Price with the Quick Edit feature, you cannot edit Cost. Merchants need the ability to bulk edit the Cost of items, especially when they have items with variants, without needing to export their entire inventory and filtering through thousands of items to make the necessary changes before re-importing.

  20. At this time, as I grow inventory and get in more variants sizes, I am having to deleted an item and recreate the variant item, creates twice the work. An item should be able to be changed to a variant item at any given time. Additionally, it so far has been difficult to sync with my woocommerce, it has required me to do 2-3x the work as others to sync. Very difficult. partly because of the limited ability to modify items once they are in Clover
