Welcome to the Clover Restaurant Forum. You're here because you are a Clover Restaurant merchant and would like to submit ideas that you feel would enhance/improve Clover's current offerings in the Restaurant space.

Clover Dining: Ideas related to table management and the Clover Dining experience.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

Clover GO: Clover GO is a mobile POS system designed for businesses that need to accept payments on the go.

Hardware: Ideas related to Clover hardware in the Restaurant space

Inventory: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clover’s inventory management software.

Invoice: Ideas related to Clover’s Invoicing feature.

Kitchen Management: Ideas related to KDS, Kitchen Printers, etc.

  1. Have add ons for Homebase plans

    Have add on's that are available for Clover Homebase so that support is seamless. Add ons are things like dual roles, API integration, multiple location support tip pooling ect

  2. Server need to be signed / clocked in or they cannot start a guest check

    Servers and bartenders who take orders should only be able to create an order if they are properly signed in. Accidents do happen where a server will accidentally use another employee's log in number and then an order is under someone else's name that is not even working.

    Servers should also NOT be able to open up another servers or bartender tab or table. This will help eliminate making a payment on the wrong guest check that belongs to another server.

  3. Reporting Permissions Cash Sales

    Add Permissions to Reporting to allow employee role to view All Cash Sales, not just their cash sales, only. We don't want them to view the entire sales report; however, they need to be able to view all cash sales to balance the drawer

  4. Add Permission level for which roles can turn on/off online ordering

    Add a Permission Level for Online Ordering. We would like employees to be able to toggle on and off online ordering on device without the need for a manager passcode

  5. Ability to send the closeout report to more than just one owner

    Many businesses have more than just one owner and many times these owners or bookkeepers CPAs would like to receive the Batch Report

  6. Let admins change device names on the dashboard

    Admins should have this ability / permission since often owners are not the ones who manage their POS

  7. Permission control tweaks

    A permission control that allows who can and cannot add Additional Charges. There Should Also Be More Than One Additional

  8. Improve Shifts App calendar for time edits on Web Dashboard

    Time punches can be edited from the web dashboard but the calendar picker does not allow the user to pick the previous day and only allows who hours to be selected. This is not useful to correct time when an employee forgot to clock out the previous day and/or the time is something other than the whole hour.

    Users can click into the field an manually adjust the date and time, but the date picker should either be eliminated or functionality improved.

  9. Homebase Shift Report

    Need to have access to the setting for the Homebase Shift Report. Kitchen employees don't need to see PAYMENTS, REFUNDS, TIPS, SERVICE CHARGE on the printed shift report only what their shift time was when printing report.
