  1. The current inventory system shows the stock count for each item but doesn't display the total number of items sold or remaining in stock. It would be helpful to add a summary that shows both the total quantity in stock and the total number of items sold for better tracking.
    Also, it would be very helpful if new items imported into the inventory were automatically set to 'automatically manage availability' rather than 'manually manage availability.' Currently, we have to change this setting for each item, which is time-consuming and prone to errors. Setting all items as automatic will help us…

  2. Merchant would like to be able to see an audit trail of when an item was added to inventory, any changes made to that item (quantities, price, etc.), when items were sold and, most importantly, when an item was deleted from inventory. It would be fine if this functionality was a requested report. Merchant has multiple users with access to inventory and if one user accidentally deletes inventory there is no audit trail to see when that was done and by whom. We thought Clover might have a back end audit trail for deleted inventory items and we were told…

  4. PLEASE , I beg of you to make COST a bulk edit item, not just Price, When entering a long list from a Purchase order it is ridiculously tedious and time consuming to add each item, variants, then price and have to tap back in to every item to add cost. You HAVE to have Cost associated with Price in order to Map a COGS report . I am so frustrated with this.

  6. Can you make the inventory functional for retailers. Inventory in when we receive product and out when we sell it, This for the most part works right now. However taking a store inventory is important to us. Being able to scan and verify products in the store. Also having a report available for items we didn't scan so we can check if we have the product and just missed it or it was stolen.

  7. UNDER ITEM, ON BULK EDIT AND EDIT YOU CANNOT CHANGE COST, YOU HAVE TO GO IN THE ACTUAL ITEM TO CHANGE COST. THIS IS TIME CONSUMING. I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO CHANGE CATAGORY AND MODIFIYER ON EDIT AS WELL INSTEAD OF GOING TO BULK EDIT.

  8. Create a feature that tracks edits made to an item in inventory, including initial creation, changes to cost, and quantities. This feature is paramount in helping users keep track of potentially lost goods and when Clover POS and Clover desktop was last sync'ed

  9. Inventory Reporting is pretty non-existent. I would love to have a report in Clover that shows the current value of your inventory. I have to export it to excel each day and then manually multiply my Quantity on Hand by my Cost and then sum the results. Also when it exports to excel, there is no category so you can't get any reports by category. This is important to most retailers.

  10. There needs to be a way to sort inventory other then just by "item name" or "in stock". We have multiple items with no category assigned and trying to find them is near impossible and VERY time consuming.

  12. Are you able to add the date an item was entered (or last updated date) and the last time it was purchased? This is important because it will help monitor items that sale and items that don't sale. If the item doesn't sale then this could help identify what items should go on sale or be discounted. This could also shape the direction of the store and keep movement within the store. This can also help with all the trends that change on social media. This can also help see items that are doing well in the store.

  14. Have an option in the inventory screen, when adding new items, to be able to print a barcode label from Easy Labels. This is essential when new items come in that don’t have barcodes on them. Also, be able to assign a barcode to an item that has no barcodes in the inventory screen.

  15. A few things to make the dashboard easier to work with:

    1. Although columns in items is customizable, it doesn't save for next login or even if you navigate away from it and return in the same session.
    2. Infinite scroll on items instead of "show more" would be helpful.
    3. I often need to download items to a csv file, but I am only able to download the entire inventory. Being able to export items at the category level would be great.

  16. The import sheet should not have a separate tab for "category". There should be a category column on the "items" tab so you can easily track which category the item is going to. We have over 50 categories and trying to make sure that each item is where it belongs is near impossible.

  17. When adding product codes to individual items: the current programming has very broad matching criteria. If just 2 or 3 sequential numbers within a product code match, then when either item is scanned, you get a list of items at the POS to choose from. This leaves far too much room for error in ringing up the correct items. It defeats the whole point of having unique individual product codes.

    Here is an example. I have 1 item thats product code is 4325, I have another completely different item that has a product code 665570982325, 2 VERY different product codes.…

  18. Multiple item pictures. Clover Retail Growth Plan online shopping needs to have the ability to add multiple pictures to each item. Customers purchasing online need to be able to see all sides of the product as well as close-up pictures of product labels. Having the ability to only add one picture per item will hurt online sales.

  19. I would like to zero out “on hand” quantities of ALL inventory in order to do a physical inventory of the store. This would allow us to see what items are still at zero after the inventory. We can then decide to delete items no longer carried at the store. We carry 2-3 thousand skus and dead inventory builds up. Maybe have a dead inventory or slow moving inventory report.

  20. Being able to enter qty by fractions. For example, We sell Fabric by the yard but often people want it at 11/2 yards or 11/4 yards, ect. It would be great if inventory would track by fractions and also register would allow input of fractions when choosing qty. instead of only being able to chose whole numbers.
