  2. The Clover Virtual Terminal (VT), and Payment Links, do not allow for 2 taxes - for example GST and QST in Quebec - to be selected. This is a headache for merchants who wish to have correct reporting regarding both federal and provincial taxes in Canada, and particularly frustrating since our POS does allow for two taxes. Here's a summary:

The Virtual Terminal – whether for manual entry, invoice, or otherwise – only allows for 1 tax type to be added, not 2. The workaround is to create a single tax type and call it TPS & TVQ and add…

  3. Merchant needs to show two different taxes. Works well, except on Register is shows the total, not broken down by type.

  4. For itemized invoices, I have a merchant who is mobile and does business in different 2-States. In the dashboard, please allow merchants to toggle in-between the different sates so merchants can apply the correct State taxes.

  5. When we remove the tax from an order, it removes the tax on the receipt entirely rather than showing that $0 was collected from tax. Please include tax on the printed receipt as $0 when tax is removed from an order

  6. Merchants who travel for events/pop-ups would love an automated tax adjustment based off the location they are in without having to manually update all their devices for each event.

Reporting for each city/state/country is essential with this automation.

EX: I make sales in Atlanta on Saturday and sales in Chattanooga on Sunday. When I filter "the last 7 days" it will show me "sales for atlanta/taxes" and "sales for Chattanooga/taxes"

Hope this is helpful and merchants often request this feature.

(maybe using cellular/wireless manager or wifi to recognize the location?)

  8. Many locations have unique tax requirements that require a Tax Rate to be assessed and then a second Tax Rate to be assessed on that total.

    For example - Restaurant tax then sales tax. Example: 12.00 drink X 2.5% = .30, then 12.30 x 7% = .86, total bill is 13.16

  9. Make the register system have a manual transaction pad, lotto , tax free and scratch off button like a traditional machine. An all in one register screen where the user doesn't have to go back and forth through menus. A register screen that shows the items, manual transaction pad, and all other options for lotto, scratch off, taxable, nontaxable, print receipt etc. A one stop screen that lets the user utilize all the functionalities to process all their different types of transactions.
