At this time this feature is answered by a third party and will not be developed by Clover.
An error occurred while saving the comment Martha commentedIt is super critical servers have the ability to use paid out tips function to reflect their actual tips. As we, the employer are to report to IRS what staff tips and tips allocation shortfalls this eliminate over-reporting on the staff. Thanks for listening
An error occurred while saving the comment Martha commentedPOS 2018 In our case, we have "Events" where more than an employee services the party. The tips are allocated among the ones who served. Depending on the size of the event the order could be ring under one of the employees including the tips. The tips and sales amount should be allocated to each one. If would be a great functionality to have this available in Clover.

An error occurred while saving the comment Martha commentedWhen I pushed my boss to select Clover equipment in 2018 as our transition POS system, we were told we could use two cash drawers in a single POS system. We realized that it didn't work on the day of the installation. Bummer! I was told the solution was being worked out. I haven't heard any more updates since. Our operations use two to three daily cashiers and all are forced to share one cash drawer. Not a good practice.

An error occurred while saving the comment Martha commentedover the last three years, I have had several support calls with Clover on this topic. As a last recourse, I enrolled with LoyLap to run our restaurant loyalty program and later learned that neither that app was capable of managing discounts exclusions. By PA State Law a business cannot discount liquor or we risk losing the business Liquor License. A liquor license is a bit thing for restaurant businesses. We created a xx% discount in Clover for our members however, once the discount is applied, it discounts the total bill, including liquor. The servers go through the painful exercise of removing the discount of each liquor item one by one out of a check. Very time-consuming and unproductive, and needless to say, prone to human errors. It will be so helpful if the discount can be attached to the food items instead of to the total bill. As the Clover market has expanded throughout the years, so the discounts setup should be universally flexible in order to cater to different types of businesses. Clover Development Team I believe this is an area worth investing some time and effort. Thank you for listening!

An error occurred while saving the comment Martha commentedI was unpleasantly surprised that Clover lacked this important restaurant function. I have inquired with Clover support several times about when this feature should be coming. We have had Clover for a little two years now and nothing has been done. My chefs are exasperated about it. I think this is critical and need to move to a higher priority than it has been placed.

As of right now, the guest count doesn't appear in any of the reports including the actual check or order. Can you please have that show in the guest checks?
