Will be nice for restaurants if they can discount items by labels instead of one by one or the entire order
For example, a restaurant has an order but wants to discount the food 15% but no the drinks. The only way to do it currently is going food item by food item and discount them and not the drinks!!

over the last three years, I have had several support calls with Clover on this topic. As a last recourse, I enrolled with LoyLap to run our restaurant loyalty program and later learned that neither that app was capable of managing discounts exclusions. By PA State Law a business cannot discount liquor or we risk losing the business Liquor License. A liquor license is a bit thing for restaurant businesses. We created a xx% discount in Clover for our members however, once the discount is applied, it discounts the total bill, including liquor. The servers go through the painful exercise of removing the discount of each liquor item one by one out of a check. Very time-consuming and unproductive, and needless to say, prone to human errors. It will be so helpful if the discount can be attached to the food items instead of to the total bill. As the Clover market has expanded throughout the years, so the discounts setup should be universally flexible in order to cater to different types of businesses. Clover Development Team I believe this is an area worth investing some time and effort. Thank you for listening!
