kitchen display
I have a clover KDS (Kitchen Display), but its lacking several features.
When in an instore order is placed, there needs to be a chime/notification to notify the kitchen staff.
Should be an option to manually print orders instead of automatic.
When an order is prepared there should be a way to notify the main clover display that the order is ready.
There should be a timer at the top of the orders instead of the time

Adding Preauthorization's on the Clover Duo
It is essential that there be a Pre-Auth on the Clover Duo. I read somewhere that this was added in February 2024, but still not seeing this on the Duo??

Sync order numbers across devices
Fast pace counter service establishments with multiple devices who use order numbers would appreciate if thoes numbers where not duplicated by the other device. Each device currently counts independantly which causes duplicate order numbers. This is an obvious problem not only for the staff filling orders but also reporting. Please fix this immediately. Thank you

Clover Rewards not working
My case number is MI-002998178 for rewards program problems.
Rewards program not working.
Have called about this problem several times over last severaal weeks
with not resolution and no meaningful feedback from tech support
regarding resolution or estimated resolution.
Another clover client has contacted me with same problem and same complaint.
I understand this forum might not be the preferred way to issue
complaint but nothing else has worked.
Reasonablly certain other clover clients have same or similar problem but
might not know they have a problem with their rewards program.
Our customers are very negatively impacted and it seems…1 voteI believe you reposted with an update to your rewards program.

KIOSK DIGITAL GC ACCEPTANCE
Kiosk need capability of entering gift card numbers has flex is unable to scan gift card QR code for digital gift cards due to its positioning on KIOSK

Remove Order Paper App and / or Restrict Access
It appears the Clover Flex now has an "Order Paper" app, that can not be disabled / removed / and or restricted via user access permissions. The clover system updater constantly adds this app back to the menu, even if you manually uninstall the app from from the machine itself (even when using an admin account to uninstall the app) If my understanding is correct, this would allow any user (including highly restricted employee level users), to order paper. And these charges would / could then be applied against the merchant account itself, or the merchant account holder's credit card.…

The station duo absolutely needs the pre auth feature.
This is not a want, but absolutely a need. Bars/breweries/coffee shops. Basically anyone worried about someone walking out on a tab needs this feature. It is less than efficient to jump to the auth tab back and forth. The auth tab also doesn’t save to an order. Even if you can start an auth then from the auth tab create an order and it saves the card to that order, that would work. Anything less than that or the original pre auth option is less than average. Basically every other system out there can do this.

Variable amount on COLO
Merchants are requesting to have Variable price/amount available for Online Ordering. Some merchant use donations through this platform.

Attach a credit card pre-authorized amount to an actual order.
If you could open a tab, attach a pre-authorized credit card and actually place the ongoing order against that credit card it would be wildly helpful. There are too many times when the customer runs an order and then leaves without paying. We have no way to track them down other than harassing them. Putting the card against the order and allowing it to be charged helps protect the merchant.

Clover Go Quick Sale add customers
A merchant said she has regular clients. She used to be able to take a card payment with her Clover Go device and the app would automatically find the customer's email address or phone# for the receipt. It doesn't do that anymore. She has to enter an email address or phone# each time. Please restore that function.

Improved touch screen
We have a client facing clover mini. It looks like you just did an update. It looks good from my side. The client side needs work.
This seems like a no brainer but, can you make a big approved screen so the client can see it? I spend all day explaining to customers that the transaction has been approved. Currently there a small little green check at the top with 4 big receipt options. A big green “approved” would save me so much explaining. Or a nice approved noise like it doesn’t for some credit cards.
Please increase the sensitivity…

Coursing needs to be set up like most restaurants need to fire certain courses
Coursing
We need the coursing function to be easier to use. Right now the coursing takes too much time to fire, we have to go into function and click the course one by one to fire. We have more than 100 customers at once so this is not going to work.
Have something like this:
Have the option to pre-set the items into different courses.
For example:
Cesar Salads in Appetizer category can be pre-set as First Course.
Spaghetti & Meatballs in Pasta category can be pre-set as Second Course.So, when the servers fire the order, the kitchen printer…

Coursing has severely slowed us down, and we are in dire need of an adjustment to opt out of that function through the settings. While it may benefit other establishments, for our restaurant, it has unquestionably been a hindrance.

Alphanumeric screen for PIN's
Alphanumeric screen for PINS's. Many customers have a name or word as a code instead of numbers, but the screen for PIN's is only numerical, you should make it alphanumeric as on all phones.

Pre-Authorization Clover Station / Duo does not work?
So I hit the help button asking for a call regarding the pre-auth is not working only to find out that it is not available on the station duo, i was not sure about that and wanted a 2nd opinion so i called Pre-Sales for agents asking about pre-auth on the station/duo and they said it is available.
So what is it????

Alpha numeric pin pad screen
Quite a few of our older customers need the letters to remember their pin numbers. Is there any way to add this to the screen the customers use to enter their pin?

Clover Go G2 app needs the Carbon copy feature....like the original Clover go app
The Carbon copy feature is very beneficial...it helps us monitor the progress of our technicians in the field and make sure that all payments are completed properly

"set up device instructions" should be accompanied by more than just fold out diagram. Use YouTube to our advantage
each Clover terminal should be accompanied to include (on the fold out instruction document), a YouTube (URL) video clip . Add printed instruction to direct the merchant to appropriate video on the actual fold out , offering full video to illustrate set up tutorial. All it takes is extra ink on existing fold out and comprehensive video.
