Need to add a Gratuity to large parties
Restaurants should have the right to add gratuity to checks. Your system doesn't have this option. You have a service fee which is included into the restaurant sales. You have suggested gratuity that prints on tickets; servers need a button that will actually add a percentage of the check to the actual check. Please and thanks

When a restaurant uses the Tables / Clover Dining app we have the ability to go to the Additional Charges settings and set up the Auto Gratuity feature for a custom percent (20%) on tables that have more than X amount of people. My particular restaurant in question set this number at 10 or more people at a table would be subject to a 20% auto grat. This part of the feature works great, but the routing of the auto grat tip does not go to the Server assigned to the table but rather to the merchant similar to a Service Charge or Sales Tax. The auto grat feature for large tables should be going to that particular waiter that is assigned to that table.
Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing? Or is there any way you can fix the routing of the auto grat tip money to go to the assigned waiter?

The IRS Ruled in 2017 that a required gratituity (aka Service Charge) is Revenue to the establishment. The establishment may or may not pay out. This is correctly categorized as Revenue. This change would be a disaster for those of us that want to stay out of jail : )
