issues with browser widgets, chrome, and accepting payments
Currently, using any browser other than Google Chrome to make a payment is intermittent (suddenly, this past week since the down time of last week 02/20/24) when clients make payments through the widget on my website that was developed via your site. This is an issue for those with Macs and others who for reasons of their own work, use other browsers. only 3 out of 20 times today was I able to go in and have the payment processed via firefox, for example. why not have your widget open in google chrome and close when done. Not everyone uses google chrome due to spammy / scammy activity incurred when using it, as well as not being available to those with a MAC. Chrome may be great for developers, but not for the end user. Now, I have to have those who do not want to download chrome, use another payment method, which decreases my need for accepting credit cards in the first place.
Also, being able to enter credit card payments on the clover dashboard, as I was able to do with payezy, is an option I need for those clients who are not at a computer but want to make a payment. I do not keep info in my office at all, and only enter when they call. I do not want to purchase any devices, I just want to be able to securely log on and enter the info for them. currently, I have to go through my website, which means I have to download chrome myself. being only compatible with one browser is suboptimal at best for the end user
