Negative Modifier
Ability to add modifier with a negative amount. This can be used in instances when the modifier decreases the price of the item.

Online product pictures populating when adding product to merchant inventory
Merchant has requested that when adding products into inventory, the screen automatically populates an online photo of the product as reference along with the UPC and Name of the product.

Report for Inventory items
Would like to be able to ran a report with all our inventory items that we sell so we know how many we sold and when we are running low on them to be able to reorder before we ran out. Also would like to do a report to see what the cost is in every part we sell. Inventory view toggle
Could you please allow us the option to use the old format with a toggle or something? We are a retail business and I have over 5000 items to keep track of. The new version takes so much longer to make adjustments with everything in its own dropdown. I prefer the old way where everything was on one page.
And please bring back the "Alternate Name". That was how we kept track of the manufacturers.2 votes -
Inventory edit
Need a "Select All" or "Apply to All" option within inventory when editing items, NOT just what is shown/loaded on web page.
Would also be nice to be able to have this option within the Inventory App on the Clover too. This would then, require it's own permission in Employees App as well.

old inventory version
You should really offer people to use the old version for the inventory, looking to switch out of Clover because the new version is unfortunately horrible for me to use for my business.

Inventory Item Maintenance web screen
Allow option for old interface when editing, adding or cloning an item. New interface implemented on 10/28/22 very cumbersome. The item search list results, allows which fields to show, BUT does not allow column size control. Cannot see enough of the item description to determine which item needs to be updated. also cannot see full Product Code/UPC on the search list. Please correct search list to display all data either by widening the columns or implementing a field wrap in variable height rows.

Go back to the original layout on the inventory page
The decision to change the inventory page layout without warning to Clover users was abysmal as well as disrespectful. My business has to make inventory/price changes on the fly, sometimes in the middle of a customer transaction and we do not have the time to learn the new layout while someone is standing there waiting to pay for an item. Also, it is going to take three times as long to enter information as it used to. allowing "item cost" to be a selection for viewing on main screen
When selecting the three blue bars to the left under inventory, there is a multitude of choices to select to have displayed on the main screen. 'Item Cost" should be added to the selection so that it can be modified or verified on the main display without having to enter the item details to locate it. It should be a choice similar to "price," "Item Code," etc. that are currently in the drop-down menu.

CREATE A MIDLEVEL SUPERVISOR/ MANAGER USER
Please consider a history or login trail to see any deleted orders.
For the case of duplicate orders this feature is necessary to complete orders, but it an order is deleted and there was no duplicate order this needs a trail to make it searchable and maintain the owner's money trail.

Register - In the search field when I type L3 the results is every item that has a L3 in it. Why doesn't it start with all the names that start with L? This takes a great deal of time when customers are waiting.

Remove access to custom items
Removing custom items or allowing the admin to restrict this would help cut down on employee theft.

Option to NOT have a default Order Type
Currently order types force you to choose a default. I would like to have the option to not have a default order type so that the cashier is forced to choose, thereby minimizing errors being sent to the kitchen.
For example, if the default is "Dine In" it's too easy for a drive thru order to get mislabeled if the cashier forgets to choose Drive Thru as an order type. This causes wasted food and/or wasted packaging.
No need to make it complicated, just need an option to NOT have a default order type so that cashiers are forced to…

Printed items based on where they are rung in
If a Bartender rings up a drink, it prints a ticket to their label printer no matter what. A bartender doesn't need to see a ticket for a Miller Lite that they just opened and handed to a customer. If your bar staff totals more than one you could end up with drinks being made twice.

server check out
Server Check Out. My client needs an industry standard check out report that is in the server daily sales report, but they need it in the Clover Station POS. Their servers check out up front and they need the Station to total up sales, # of covers/people served, and other information from that report. They need it on the POS to print it out. Sell more than 100 of an item
The Register App limits any one item from being sold more than 100 times on a single transaction. Please remove this limitation as there are occasions wherein a customer may buy more than one hundred of any given item

Print Modifier without Price tag on Receipt
In Clothing store, we like to add SIZE, COLOR or Sometime Dimensions but there should not be any price tag attached. Currently it shows Size Medium $0.00 which looks very odd.
Variant Item doesn't a solution, it is very difficult to manage with 100s of articles with 50+ variants each i.e. (Sizes x Colors)
