You should be able to reorder or sort the items on your menus. The web app lists all Items alphabetically, but the Clover Mini's screen does not do so. New items automatically go to the bottom. It's hard enough to find items because your system doesn't group variants together, so allowing for alphabetized sorting would be great.

To organize items and categories alphabetically, go to your Dashboard > Inventory > categories > change layout (top right corner) > A-Z button > Save

You can do this on the Dashboard. Under Inventory
Category and then there are commands to sort A to Z

We are constantly adding new items into our register app. We organize these items by categories. When adding new items and assigning a category, it is easier to view these items in alphabetical order. In order to achieve this with the clover, we are require to manually drag items around to arrange them in alphabetical order.

Previous POS systems we have used had a "button" that allowed us to automatically alphabetize the items in a category, if we chose to do so. This is a feature that is desperately needed and seems relatively easy to support.

Merchant would like to know why new items are not listed alphabetically in the category on the device as they are on the dashboard, stated when she adds new items to category they appear at the bottom of the category's list on the station, stated if she added multiple items to inventory it would be time consuming to rearrange them every time she updates

Merchant also stated that when searching items in the register application they do not always appear in alphabetical order, if she types in the word "scratch" that the first word she expects to see but since she has several items that contain the word "scratch" an entire list is displayed with the initial item being "card board scratch" instead of "scratch 50" , she stated this will limit mistakes during her peak time

I love having my items in each category alphabetized. When you add a new item to inventory it goes to bottom of list and having to drag it and place in correct place is time consuming especially if your category has hundreds of items

The only way I have found to do this is to export the item into excel, then sort the columns in excel and then import the items back into clover.
