Tip Pooling

Clients are asking for Tip Pooling, not a 3rd party app. There are many different ways tips can be collected and paid out. We need more settings and control over who a tip is assigned to and reporting for end of shift tips reconciling.

    Would we be able to have Tips Payout percentages we can create for the different labels per employee on EOD reporting that automatically calculates?

    Lots of competitors have this report for each employee on their different types of sales. EX: server must tip out sushi chef, bartender, dishwasher etc. If a server sells XX amount in sales on sushi the device automatically calculates 0.5% of those sales to be deducted from the server's final tip payout.

    For Restaurants and bars everybody working should be able to have a name on the receipt, a tip line for the Beverage Tip, and a line for the Server Tip

    Totally agree. I have several barbershops and hair salons that would love to use Clover but won't because of this. Need to be able to split a tip by employee as well as somehow show what each barber sold. One barber could have sold just a haircut and another had a haircut and sold some product. Owner needs to know that information for paying commission. I thought maybe combine order would work but both orders get assigned to whomever took the payment :-(

    Tip pooling and tip sharing are essential if we are wanting to succeed in signing FSRs that serve alcohol. Too many of our peers offer this functionality. Clover's shift reports do not provide revenue class reporting by employee, so the manual process is a nightmare. Our peers have made this change, and it is time we invested in it as well.

    POS 2018 In our case, we have "Events" where more than an employee services the party. The tips are allocated among the ones who served. Depending on the size of the event the order could be ring under one of the employees including the tips. The tips and sales amount should be allocated to each one. If would be a great functionality to have this available in Clover.

    We need tip pooling features within the Tips App. Clients have been asking for tip pooling options that third party apps cannot provide. One client is asking for the ability for Clover to track credit card tips and provide a breakdown of tips due to each employee at the end of their shift.

    There's only one app that handles Tip Pooling on the App Marketplace and their customer service is terrible.

    Merchant called in because he is a barbershop and the way that clover is set up does not work for his business.
    REsolution:the merchant would like to be able to split payments by employees because right now there are 2 barbers on his shop and if someone comes in with his kid and they get a get a hair cut with each barber they customer would have to make 2 transactions to pay each barber//the merchant would like an option that fixes that issue since clover is a great devise but it does not cover the needs he has//done

    I have found that at FSR such as higher end restaurants, servers share tips with the bar according to their alcohol sales and bussers according to their overall sales or food sales. Can we have this added into Clover?

    Merchant would like to be able to split a single tip between employees, would like to customize the amount as well, in some cases one employee may be tipped more than the other
