What is the status on this? It’s been 4 years since the first request. We are getting killed in the restaurant industry because of not have this basic function. Ask Toast

This is s difference maker type of need for restaurants. Most POS systems have this ability.

It is super critical servers have the ability to use paid out tips function to reflect their actual tips. As we, the employer are to report to IRS what staff tips and tips allocation shortfalls this eliminate over-reporting on the staff. Thanks for listening

We have multiple service providers and this would be such a helpful tool in distributing tips amoungst multiple providers in an easy way.

I read comments about tip pooling and distribution. Try the Dolce app. That's very comprehensive and you can add the app from your More Tools tab on Dashboard. Dolce really is amazing and it does all kinds of difficult tip pooling. We have many restaurants using that app, it is better and great support.

Hello. yesterday my equipment for barbershop and salon arrived. but this system does not have the ability to divide tips for each member nor does it have the ability to divide the amounts by individual for each service the employee did. this delays my day because I have to do it manually daily and write down each service and its prices for each person in the barbershop. it's a problem for me. they should add an app for this to be printed individually per person per service and tips

I am amazed a POS does not have this. This is as basic of a function there is in any non retail business!!
First suggestion in 2018 and still cannot even add cash tips and pool.

PLEASE better tip pooling natively. Square POS allows you to even automatically split evenly per hours worked with anyone else clocked in; pulls numbers from CC reports. Custom functionality seems easy to implement. Has littered the POS marketplace for years. We lose 10's of thousands a year in lost time accounting for and distributing tips that could really be calculated asynchronously from payroll but done in bulk, in an automated fashion and exported when you run in timesheets.

Tip Pooling for restaurants. We need to tip pooling to allow wait staff to pay out a drink percentage to the bartender for the drinks they have made.

Option for top adjustment as well on credit card transactions.

If I had known................We need to be able to assign tips to each individual waitress as a customer checks out at the cash register just like a regular credit card machine. It doesn't make sense you can't do this when technology is moving forward. Why can't Clover do this? If this isn't resolved this whole system will be packed up and shipped back without ever being able to put it to use. No one can answer questions without bouncing you to 3 or 4 different people and then the call drops! Agree with Cath Shaw Truelove's comment. They dropped the ball on a very important function.

Need to be able to offer tip pooling. Competitors make this easy. They have the ability to pool tips among anyone working a shift based on customized parameters. Please create this within Clover, not a third party paid app.

Agreed - the company the built the tip pooling app is also out of business. They do not answer calls or return emails. Many of us have tried in the previous months.

Right now whoever is at the register is getting all the tips. We have a large space and can't run back and forth to be cashier every time we get a tip. We'd love to ask "who helped you today?" and assign a tip to the server. I've seen this with other systems. Clover is a pretty big company... why so basic technology?
