exchanging items
Merchant wants to be able to locate items for exchanges by typing the name of the item or by scanning the bar code of the item to avoid having to go through all the items one by one. Also to be able to have exchanges between multiple categories.

I have installed Clover Station at some retail stores and they AGREE that the worst part of clover for a retail store is that it can't process and exchange correctly. Every other retail software can handle this, but Clover can't. Unfortunately, it means that my ISO office has completely stopped marketing Clover to retail stores until this gets fixed.
1) Customer comes into store and buys a large blue shirt for $100. They gave the shirt to someone as a birthday present.
2) Customer that received the shirt comes back into store and needs to exchange the shirt for a different shirt that is a different prices. They don't like the blue shirt and they don't fit into a large. So they want to exchange the large blue shirt for Medium Red button down shirt that is $150.
3) Clover should add the large blue shirt back into inventory, and have a credit on the sale screen for $100, and then ring up the $150 medium red shirt in Clover, taking the medium red shirt out of inventory, and prompting the clerk that an additional $50 needs to be paid.Done! That is all Clover needs to do.
Please add this ASAP as our current merchants are demanding this, and then we can start selling Clover Stations to retailers again.
Note: using gift cards as a workaround is costly, time consuming, cost the merchant money, and the current clover app doesn't update inventory properly when doing an exchange.
Please have Clover dev team or support contact me directly if they want some case studies so that this can be easily and quickly added to Clover.

Merchant would like the option to exchange an item for a higher or lower amount to avoid a full refund

Customer wants to exchange an item with a different item much more expensive we should be returning the exchanged item to inventory ring up new item the buyer pay the difference

MERCHANT IS ASKING THAT HE WOULD LIKE AN EHNHANCEMENT TO BE DONE TO ALLOW EXCHANGE PROCESS TO BE ABLE TO BE DONE THROUGH THE CLOVER EVEN IF ITS NOT THE SAME AMOUNT BEING EXCHANGE.

We would like to see and option to be able to exchange items for other items in inventory of all values. Today unfortunately an employee made a mistake that cost us $50. This is also an inconvenience as customers do not want to be debited again as they are unsure when they will see a return for their original transaction.

Merchant wants to process a refund with the exchange option but she only have the option to exchange it for the same item she would like to have more items to exchange it with different prices

Agree this app needs to happen very soon! Or give them a credit toward there purchase they are doing that day instead of us have to give a gift card. Check out how quick books does it if your confused.

Not being able to choose other items with different prices really limits the Clover to operate in SMB stores, need this ASAP
