Cannot access Clover Account at all without SMS

This page describes the ability to use an authentication app for two-factor authentication.
However, it is impossible for a new customer to reach their account page in the first place without using SMS.
We are a public library and there is no reason for us to have a mobile phone. We use authentication apps for other services and would be happy to use it for Clover, but your website setup makes it impossible to choose that option.
Telephone help line was unable to help with this.
You are able to set your authentication to the Authentication app instead of SMS for 2FA. Please call Clover Support to help you set this up.
