Online Ordering
We are a beach chair rental business on one of the busies most beautiful beaches on St. Thomas, VI. Magens Bay.
We would like to close Tuesdays and Wednesdays permanently to prevent overbookings. Unfortunately, this cannot be done on the Clover dashboard or app. When we pause these days all of our online ordering is turned off for present and future bookings.
We would like to be able to just turn off the specific days, so we do not have to change the regular schedule for the week and come back and change the days again. This would be very…1 vote -
Can we please have the ability to merge Orders?
Currently, we aren't able to merge two open orders. Can this functionality please be implemented? TY!

Make check a form of payment
Should be able to select check as a form of payment in addition to cash and charge. (I know it's not as common but some businesses do still take checks)

trade in
There needs to be a way to take a trade-in on the register screen other than using a discount. There are times we have "upside-down" trades and that is an impossible thing to do because you can't add a discount for more than what the item is selling for.

Prevent zero dollar transactions
There are multiple reasons why Having the ability to disable sales of $0 could come in handy. Example is if an employee accidentally puts in $0 into the inventory costs. I've ran into this error because of QR code problems and valued employees not filling in all the blanks when putting in new merchandise. This would be advantageous for everybody including Clover because you don't get processing fees if the product is $0

Customer name on portal receipt and print receipt button
Is it possible to add the Customer name to the Receipt that is printed from the portal? Also, instead of having to go to "Transactions" to view payment receipt it would be nice to have a "print receipt" button on the payment complete screen.
1 voteThank you for your feedback. Clover does offer the ability to print the receipt from the payment complete screen. Please contact our support team if you require assistance with that feature.
We currently have no plans to add customer name to a receipt as it could create complications for us with PII data and/or PCI.

Show employee nickname on receipts
Clover dashboard asks for "full name" and "nickname" and states directly underneath that line that the "nicknames will be printed on receipts," but that isn't the case. To protect our staff we need the Nicknames function to actually work.

Order Receipt prices
All Devices including duo,mini,flex. It would help a lot if the order receipt printed out with the items price, as of right now when you make an order and sve it the receipt prints out with all the info except the price of the items.

Online ordering Printer Options
I am needing to be able to turn the printer option off when each order comes through online. I don't need each order printed since to me that is a waste of paper and for my business we look each order up in our system. We don't need the paper version printed. (i'm not a restaurant)
Also, I don't need to allow customers to schedule a pickup time/day. Is there a way to hide that feature or turn it off?

exporting transactions
Would be nice if it included everything when you export reports. Example the ship to address for sales tax use. At the moment we have to go back into the transaction to get the address and put it in manually.

please add a toggle button to turn off/on 2 receipts on POS terminal.
recently CRA audited us and they did not like your logged version of transaction since they were looking for the actual receipts. Please add a toggle button to turn on/off 2 receipts under printing setting. I was very disappointed to learn that Clover has removed this option to print 2 receipts at the same time and now its manually done.

Orders App no longer allows for the device to show both online and in-store orders on the same page
A recent update took away the option to view online and in-store orders on the same screen in the orders app on the device. There is an option to filter between orders, but it does not have all orders as an option, so it makes managing orders tedious

Create orders from dashboard and save as 8.5x11 .pdfs.
Ability to create and print orders from the dashboard to .pdf or straight to an external letter-size printer.
Merchant takes orders over the phone, prepares their order, emails or prints out the order as a quote on a letter size sheet of paper, and has it ready when they customer comes to pick up the order.

When a customer pays for their mattress they want to know who is the vendor on the receipt. That would be the category title and that does not show on the customer or order receipt.

Tender Payment Options
Having the option to set associated "pricing" with tender would be most helpful. In Washington, DC we have a food token (Breadcoin) that is worth $2.50. Though we are able to designate tender type, CSR nor myself were able to locate an option to designate a price/cost with the tender option.

Order Type Edits
1) Need a way to add new/existing item to a different order type on clover machine, not only on clover's website under Sales & taxes tab.
2) If item is not added in a given order type, that item should not be allowed to be a part of that specific order type transaction.
