Qr code sale notification.
I would like to suggest that when using a QR code to accept a sale, that the app sends your phone a notification of the sale. I know xxxxx qr codes do that, it would be really nice if clover would notify us too. I use QR codes on merchandise that I have placed in retail locations, and I love the QR code feature! A notification would be amazing! Need to have a bulk edit to set the track stock option to Automatic
Currently, there is no way to bulk edit the items to automatically Track Stock. This is also not reflected on the Inventory load spreadsheet, so the only way to set items to be tracked automatically is to open each and every item and set this option - this is unwieldy for retail establishments with over 10,000 items. Currently, Quantity can be set via the loading spreadsheet but not the ability to automically track stock.

Allow admin to set inventory fields as mandatory
When adding inventory - allow the admin to require some fields to be populated.
I.e. - cost, category, revenue code. Basically any field should be required or NOT at the merchant's choice.
This would force the user to enter data according to the requirements of the merchant and reduce or eliminate painful clean up tasks.

Inventory Item List - Allow and save custom Columns List
For my retail business, the default list of columns isn't useful and since the system times out every 15 minutes, we must frequently reset the column list or drill into the detailed item update (which is VERY inefficient). Since this app is targeted to retail, it is surprising Product code (UPC) and SKU weren't part of the default column list design. (feels like a hold over from the Clover restaurant focus)

Sales reporting
We are in need of a way to look at the sales report for a specific item, company, and group of items. Maybe this could be easily resolved with a search function in reporting - showing past orders, stock quantity, and number sold. It would also be very beneficial for this information to have a time stamp, for we are a business that relies on seasonal items and sales.

Remove Sales Tax from Invoice
On tax exempt customer be able to remove the sales tax either by adding the Order Type to the Invoice page or just remove it individually or at the end.

Save report filters
We would like our reports to save automatically so we don't have to reset the filters every time. It'd be ideal if the Dashboard could display the filters we have already set so we do not have to recreate them every time

Condense identical modifiers
Identical modifiers should have an option to be condensed in one line for each item.
Currently, if we add the same modifier 20 times to one item, the payment receipt will list it in 20 lines making the receipt absurdly long.
At least for non priced modifiers, it should list the same identical modifier as "x20".
Eg. If a customer orders 20 small shirts($0) and 10 large shirts($0) 10 XXL shirts ($4.50):
40 Cotton Shirt $xx
20 Small $0
10 Large $0

"Mark as Completed" Button for Pick Up Orders
Pick up/ Shipping order notification with QR code.
It would be good to have a button "Mark as Completed" on some active orders so when the order is completed it sends a notification via text/email to the customer telling them the order has been completed with a QR code generated if it was marked "for pick up" or the tracking # if marked "for shipping".
When customer comes to the store to pick up we scan the QR, it would open the order and not allow the release of the merchandise ONLY until it's paid in full for partially paid…

Multiple Prices on 1 item
When doing a special event and you want to have special pricing only if purchased at the event, and the retail location is still open, there should be an option for multiple prices on and individual item. Example, a cigar is $11 in the store but at the event is $10.

Per Unit inventory pricing on essentials plan
Please add item pricing type "Per unit" to the new Essentials plan. So it would be "Fixed" "Variable" and "Per Unit" Thank you. Merchants do not want to pay 89.95 a month just to sell per unit

Custom Reports
Businesses need a P&L report that shows a breakdown of the income like on the Sales Overview, but also breaks out YOUR fees between loan fees and credit card fees as it does on the deposits report and COGS like on the item sales report... I have to run those 3 reports 4 times each for a total of 12 reports to give my manager the P&L numbers!! You're already pulling all the data for the reporting, just consolidate it better..

Tracking commissions for services and products sold by the staff
Since I am giving my staff commission on membership packages sold as well as commissions on products sold, it would be convenient to apply these commission percentages when closing out a sale. This would make it easy to track no only their tipping but obtain the percentage of the products or services sold.

Gift Card
The same way money is added to the Gift Card should be the same way the card is used. For Example: Customer wants $20 on a gift card. Customer gives me the cash, I swipe the gift card to add the $20. But when the customer comes back to use the gift card, they have to give me the card to me to type in each number for the Gift Card to process payment. Allow additional charges to be automatically applied for Register Plan and Be Able to exclude certain categories
With the recent tariffs, I had to increase prices of all of my inventory. Rather than manually changing every single item in both the clover app as well as on the shelves, I was able to add a blanket upcharge to cover for inflation due to tariffs using the additional charges option. However, I have to add this in manually for every transaction, and am also unable to exempt certain catergories of items from this upcharge under the Register Plan.
Customer support had said that I would have to upgrade to the Restaurant Plan in order to do something similar…

print cash drop amount
You should be able to print the amount removed from the cash drawer for a deposit in the Cash Log App. Merchants want to print the amount removed from cash drawer to submit with the cash so the store employee doesn't need to write down the amount of the cash taken from the drawer which could lead to errors.
