Subcategory
The new Subcategory feature is great for organizing our gift shop items, but it's biggest downfall is that you are NOT able to access, edit, or add to Subcategories within the Inventory app on the POS terminals or handheld devices. This makes it very difficult to enter new items that we want to place into a Subcategory, especially if they have an already existing barcode that we want to include with the item when creating. Item sales reporting- fix Categories tab
In item sales reporting, when looking at Categories, please fix the All Categories checkbox to allow to select and DE-select all. It currently only allows you to select all and manually de-select categories. It would be easier if it worked to select and de-select all as an option when you have more than 50-100+ categories for retail.

A way to mark Invoices as paid when paid by cash or check
Hello! I have been using clover for almost 5 years now. I send a lot of invoices and my customers usually pay by check. I understand that if they pay by card clover makes money off the transaction, but my wholesale accounts dont WANT to pay by card. In this case I have to create another order to mark as paid. When I have over 40 accounts that pay this way I have to make 80 orders instead of 40. It causes a mess in the system. You cant delete the invoices that are canceled either so they hang in…

BULK EDIT COST
PLEASE , I beg of you to make COST a bulk edit item, not just Price, When entering a long list from a Purchase order it is ridiculously tedious and time consuming to add each item, variants, then price and have to tap back in to every item to add cost. You HAVE to have Cost associated with Price in order to Map a COGS report . I am so frustrated with this.

The Clover Software really should take a priority on helping retailers with the inventory management>export>reporting features. If you all are not able to enhance this area you should really not market yourself as a solution for retailers. The fact that you can't 1. custom item
We do not want the "custom item" button to show up on our terminal. Unfortunately, it's not optional. I was told customer service can't remove it. This seems ridiculous. We should be able to turn it off.

Stop making Reporting Worse!
I would like to see adjustable columns on reports, the ability to add more columns in (such as current inventory in item sales reports). The ability to export to excel. We use item sales and inventory for our ordering but the last set of update has made this not useful using the web portal. We now have to go through our inventory item by item once or twice a week (with over 10k items), and hope we dont miss anything.

Inventory Audit Trail
Merchant would like to be able to see an audit trail of when an item was added to inventory, any changes made to that item (quantities, price, etc.), when items were sold and, most importantly, when an item was deleted from inventory. It would be fine if this functionality was a requested report. Merchant has multiple users with access to inventory and if one user accidentally deletes inventory there is no audit trail to see when that was done and by whom. Check Gift Card Balances on the Gift Cards Dashboard
It would be extremely helpful for the clover gift cards dashboard to be able search a specific gift card number to check its activation, purchase history, and current balances. This feature is currently available on the device but it does give much more than just the current balance available.
Right now in order to find a specific gift card and see if the gift card has made any purchase we have to find the individual daily promo details reports and its very cumbersome to find the information.
A more streamlined gift card number search feature would be extremely helpful especially…

Bulk edit
In the Item section, you can’t change the cost in Bulk Edit or Edit; you have to open the actual item to update the cost, which is time-consuming. It would be great to have the option to change the category and modifier directly in Edit as well, instead of having to use Bulk Edit.

Sales reporting
We are in need of a way to look at the sales report for a specific item, company, and group of items. Maybe this could be easily resolved with a search function in reporting - showing past orders, stock quantity, and number sold. It would also be very beneficial for this information to have a time stamp, for we are a business that relies on seasonal items and sales.

Drafts for Invoicing
We type invoices for landscaping, and something that would be helpful would be the ability to save an invoice as a draft. I am constantly pulled away from the computer due to customers, and it is difficult to type a full invoice in a timely manner. Plants are also subject to change, which makes preparing invoices impossible, since there is no draft and editing feature.

Merchant would like to have a house accounts option
Since Clover does not offer a built-in house accounts feature, the merchant must rely on third-party applications. House accounts allow customers to prepay funds and have purchases deducted from their balance each time they visit.

Bring back the ability to uncheck "All Categories" in the item sales reporting!
I have around 100 categories that I need to reference sales reports on and it used to be that I could go to the drop down and uncheck "All Categories" and then select the one I needed. Removing that option now means that I have to uncheck a hundred categories to isolate the one. Please replace the ability to uncheck all!

Inventory to re-add items when refunded
Inventory Refunds/Returns need to be able to automatically add the item back into inventory. Ideally, this would be configurable at the Item level to indicate if the item is to added back to inventory upon a refund.

Remove Sales Tax from Invoice
On tax exempt customer be able to remove the sales tax either by adding the Order Type to the Invoice page or just remove it individually or at the end.
