Allow quantity of items sold to be entered as decimals
We sell fuel by the gallon which is usually measured to the tenth of a gallon, IE 10.2 gallons. The Clover only allows us to pick a whole number which doesn't allow us to charge the customer the proper amount without doing a custom item for just the sale price. This doesn't allow the customer to see what fuel quantity they purchased on their receipt. This would also help companies that sell items by weight.

Erase inventory to zero
Customer needs to reset inventory to zero due to duplicates and triples of items and start with a clean blank inventory/ items. No items in the Clover whatsoever. Currently, Clover makes you bulk edit at 200 items at a time. With over 18000 items this takes over an hour to click and click and click to erase back to zero.
For example, the 3 lines where its export/ import/ print/ item settings to have a reset inventory items to zero. Make the merchant require a 2 factor authentication to actually reset the inventory to zero items to eliminate a chance…

Add more columns to Clover dashboard items/ inventory list
A modifiers column and modifier prices are not available columns in the item list in the Clover dashboard. Merchants have to click onto the item which is a blue link to see the modifier and click the modifier to change the prices. For example, a plumbing retail store has 3 modifiers for 6000 items. Currently, the merchant can look at his 6000 items and see all 3 prices next to the same item along with margin % in correlation with the cost (which Clover does have the cost column currently which is a positive) Since Clover already has the cost…

Multiple Prices on 1 item
When doing a special event and you want to have special pricing only if purchased at the event, and the retail location is still open, there should be an option for multiple prices on and individual item. Example, a cigar is $11 in the store but at the event is $10.

Store Credit for Refund option
When performing a refund, the only option is to select payment form for the refund to return to. As a small nonprofit boutique, we'd like an option to select store credit so we can be guaranteed to keep the sale.

Moving Category
It would be helpful to have the option to move entries between the Item and Category sections. For example, if you accidentally create a large number of categories under the Item section, you currently have to delete them and start over. Instead, there should be a way to transfer them directly into the Category section. Likewise, if you mistakenly add an item into the Category section, you should be able to move it back into the Item section without having to redo everything.

Bundle items for discount
We need the following option in order to create an automatic discount on certain items bought together.
1. The ability to bundle items together, to create a new item in the inventory. When this bundle item is bought, all items in the bundle are removed from inventory.Real life example: if you buy item A, it is $8. If you buy item B, it is $10. NEED ABILITY TO DELETE OR CANCEL EXPIRED INVOICES
I would like to formally request the ability to delete unpaid, expired invoices dating back to 2020. We do not use the Clover Virtual Terminal Invoicing for all billing purposes — only for sending past-due payment requests to patients. It is frustrating and inconvenient that there is currently no option to remove or archive these old, unpaid invoices from our dashboard.
We now have invoices over four years old cluttering our unpaid balance section, many of which have already been written off as bad debt in our internal medical records system. This not only complicates our accounting process but also…

holiday hours
have a way to enter special or hloiday hours on specific days so we do not have to change the regular schedule for the week and come back and change the hours again. this would be very helpful as my online partners rely on the info from clover for their hours

Per Unit inventory pricing on essentials plan
Please add item pricing type "Per unit" to the new Essentials plan. So it would be "Fixed" "Variable" and "Per Unit" Thank you. Merchants do not want to pay 89.95 a month just to sell per unit

Reward points exempt items
You should be able to exempt items from receiving reward points and or perks used on specific items. I offer a third party service that is very low margin but higher price than my usual items and it allows lots of points to be earned that is in turn used on regular items eating into profits.

Telecheck
– Telecheck Higher ACH Limit – We need Telecheck to support a limit higher than $5000 quicker than before 6 months of processing. We’d like Telecheck/Clover to allow us to submit supporting documents to approve a higher than $5000 limit for ACH immediately. This will help us support our larger customers who have this need without additional steps/products for the client.

Inventory import
The import sheet should not have a separate tab for "category". There should be a category column on the "items" tab so you can easily track which category the item is going to. We have over 50 categories and trying to make sure that each item is where it belongs is near impossible.

Returns
When a customer is returning or exchanging an item. There should be a way to just do that on the register screen without having to find the original order. We offer returns up to 90 days and after 30 they disappear from the history.

Tip splitting, overriding assigned employee in Reporting
Our employees work for commission, but sometimes we have a ticket that 2+ people worked on. It would be great if there was a way to assign specific items to another employee who did not sign in at the register, either before the payment or edit it afterwards. Along with that, it would be amazing if tips could be split after the transaction is complete, I think a 50/50, 3 way split, or custom split option would be very useful and appreciated!
