Pin entry
We would like the option to not allow the customer to bypass the PIN entry so that they cannot do a chageback.

deposit report
I use a third party gateway to process external payments through a payment portal. In the itemized entries on deposits report the report doesn't equal to the amount transferred to the bank. The amount transferred is greater than the itemized total. This because there is no accounting for the external payments received from the gateway on that particular day. The report has other payments, but it shows a zero dollar amount. I have to reconcile this manually. The batch close out doesn't show any external payments either. Please consider adding in payments received from a 3rd party gateway. Thank you.

Test Mode on Mini
The Clover Mini does not have a test mode for the register. We are unable to run tests in the register application. Please add this feature.

Merchant would like the option to send invoices by text, not just email.

Inventory UI Needs Polish
The User Interface for the inventory app keeps getting worse and worse. New features are fine, in theory, but when they take preeminence over more useful data fields the process to add items becomes more and more difficult.
Specifically, the newer data fields "Online Name" "Online Description" and "This is an age restricted item" have been place above the essential fields like stock, price, and cost. If they insist on adding more useless data fields to every item, at least they could add them at the bottom of the screen. Or, better yet, make those fields toggleable from the settings.…5 votes -

Option to extend Expiration on promo
I would like the promo feature to be more user friendly by allowing us to extend the expiration date before the promo ends. I would also like customers to be able to scan the coupon on their side on the mini and not have to hand their phone to staff.

Order Receipt email or phone number missing
When Payment is made, Clover does not bring in the customers email or phone number from their bank, we dont want to have to manually put it in every time.

rewards
Please allow restrictions to be made on the discount given from the rewards loyalty program. For example, I would like to prevent the rewards discount from being redeemable on tobacco items. We do not have enough markup on tobacco to give the discount that is given on the rewards app.

functioning inventory.
Can you make the inventory functional for retailers. Inventory in when we receive product and out when we sell it, This for the most part works right now. However taking a store inventory is important to us. Being able to scan and verify products in the store. Also having a report available for items we didn't scan so we can check if we have the product and just missed it or it was stolen.

Bundle items for discount
We need the following option in order to create an automatic discount on certain items bought together.
1. The ability to bundle items together, to create a new item in the inventory. When this bundle item is bought, all items in the bundle are removed from inventory.Real life example: if you buy item A, it is $8. If you buy item B, it is $10. FIXING ITEM OPTIONS
UNDER ITEM, ON BULK EDIT AND EDIT YOU CANNOT CHANGE COST, YOU HAVE TO GO IN THE ACTUAL ITEM TO CHANGE COST. THIS IS TIME CONSUMING. I WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO CHANGE CATAGORY AND MODIFIYER ON EDIT AS WELL INSTEAD OF GOING TO BULK EDIT.

INVOICING UPDATE—REVAMP!?
Clover… do you read these complaints? Why is the most liked invoicing concern still under review? I voiced my concern over a year ago—along with numerous other business owners—and nothing has changed.
I own a boutique, and like many retailers, I rarely sell just one item. We need a true itemized invoicing option that allows multiple products to be listed individually. On top of that, there’s still no proper shipping option—and since taxes can’t be applied to shipping, the current workaround looks unprofessional and creates accounting headaches. It should not be this complicated.

Inventory on hand reports
Create an Inventory Valuation Report which shows item, quantity, unit cost, unit price, extended cost, extended price. The report which currently exports to Excel is very disappointing and requires substantial work in excel to obtain the info needed.

Set Sleep Display Settings on Both Screens (duo)
Merchant would like to be able to set the automatic display settings for both the merchant facing screen as well as the customer facing screen on the station duo. For example, the merchant facing screen can sleep after 5 minutes while the customer facing screen does not sleep

Quick edit of modifiers
Modifiers need to be quick edited on the same screen. For a retail business such as a plumbing supply store there are 3 prices for every item. These prices such as copper pieces for pipes change every day. Clover is missing out on retail businesses where being able to quickly change these 3 modifers prices that is associated with the one item. Quickbooks desktop has made this simple on all one screen. Permissions on Shifts. Managers can do on App, not Dashboard!
Terrible. When I want my Manager to give me employee times, she can only give them to me from app and NOT DASHBOARD! What the heck kind of software isn't smart enough to allow permissions for that on dASHBOARD, but will on app. Stupid! Makes me want to leave Clover over such an easy fix. JUST ALLOW MY MANAGER THE ABILITY TO DO TIME ON SHIFTS ON THE DASHBOARD!!! Such a simple fix!
