Manager/Admin Permissions
My managers need the ability to onboard Employees onto the system, but I have to give them Admin access. Admins have access to my Owner pricing ability, but my managers cannot have access to pricing. This is an easy fix under Employee Permissions, and give us customers the ability to check "Manager" for access to the Employee app.

Please allow the desktop users to adjust logout timer. Every 15 minutes is infurating

Inventory UI Needs Polish
The User Interface for the inventory app keeps getting worse and worse. New features are fine, in theory, but when they take preeminence over more useful data fields the process to add items becomes more and more difficult.
Specifically, the newer data fields "Online Name" "Online Description" and "This is an age restricted item" have been place above the essential fields like stock, price, and cost. If they insist on adding more useless data fields to every item, at least they could add them at the bottom of the screen. Or, better yet, make those fields toggleable from the settings.…7 votes -
Enable capability to adjust quantity of items purchased to more than 99 when saved as "Fixed"
Please enable the capability to change/adjust the number of items purchased to more than 99 when an item is saved as a "Fixed" price. It can be done if the item is saved as "Per Unit", but then it shows like 1 (one) item is being sold and in the description is shows the quantity at whatever price.

Allow Quantities Over 99
This seems like it should be a very basic feature, but it is super frustrating to not have the capability to enter item quantities of over 99. If I had known this wasn't possible I would not have purchased Clover. However I did not think about it not being available because it is ridiculous. I have had to redo my entire inventory as bulk items and has increased the complexity of orders and really slowed down efficiency and accuracy of staff. Date's to Inventory
Are you able to add the date an item was entered (or last updated date) and the last time it was purchased? This is important because it will help monitor items that sale and items that don't sale. If the item doesn't sale then this could help identify what items should go on sale or be discounted. This could also shape the direction of the store and keep movement within the store. This can also help with all the trends that change on social media. This can also help see items that are doing well in the store.

Consistency across Clover GO and physical terminal
Please make the functionality of the virtual terminal like CloverGo and the Clover website consistent with the physical terminal. For example, I have a price rule for cash discounts where the customer can qualify if they pay with cash or check. This works perfectly on the physical terminal. However, on CloverGo if I choose the check option as a form of payment, it does not compute as being eligible for the cash discount where it should. Save report filters
We would like our reports to save automatically so we don't have to reset the filters every time. It'd be ideal if the Dashboard could display the filters we have already set so we do not have to recreate them every time

Inventory In/Out of Stock Total
The current inventory system shows the stock count for each item but doesn't display the total number of items sold or remaining in stock. It would be helpful to add a summary that shows both the total quantity in stock and the total number of items sold for better tracking.
Also, it would be very helpful if new items imported into the inventory were automatically set to 'automatically manage availability' rather than 'manually manage availability.' Alternate Name Field
It would be very helpful to have the ability to add/edit the "alternate name" field within the dashboard or inventory app. This currently lives in the import template file only and we use this to print our product labels.

Item list scrolling issue
Add "Reset pages to top each time category list is closed" to register settings. Prior to this year, custom item arrangement within each category would reset to the top of the list every time it was accessed. Now, if you scroll to the bottom of the items within a category and exit, the next person to pull up that category finds it in the spot where it was left. Staff can no longer quickly ring in frequently purchased items (that are at the top of each category) because the list is not appearing at the top each time. New issue…

Condense identical modifiers
Identical modifiers should have an option to be condensed in one line for each item.
Currently, if we add the same modifier 20 times to one item, the payment receipt will list it in 20 lines making the receipt absurdly long.
At least for non priced modifiers, it should list the same identical modifier as "x20".
Eg. If a customer orders 20 small shirts($0) and 10 large shirts($0) 10 XXL shirts ($4.50):

Inventory sorting
There needs to be a way to sort inventory other then just by "item name" or "in stock". We have multiple items with no category assigned and trying to find them is near impossible and VERY time consuming.

Barcode Scanning using Clover Go app

Combine Employee Records
We cannot currently reset SMS on an employee account or update the email address. When a new account is created with new information, the records are not connected.
Request to be able to combine employee profiles. If discrepancies exist, choose which account to use the information from.

Clover Online
Currently for Online stores for retail, there are no shipping or mailing options, there are only instore pickup and door dash delivery. This is limiting merchants from gaining shoppers because you CAN NOT turn both functions off. One must remain on or the website is turned off.
There is not enough allowed characters for customers to put contact information.
Categories do not have the ability to add descriptions.
