  1. Enhancement for Clover Gift Card App --

    When setting up the Clover Gift Card App, enable on-screen prompts for the user so that it prevents them from setting up a secondary gift card entitlement number, causing unnecessary impact to the user. Potential probing prompts on screen, such as:

    1. Do you already have a Gift Card Entitlement Number?

      • If so, enter here ____ - then it would allow user to enter entitlement number, syncing and chaining the location to all other locations which share the same entitlement number
    2. Do you plan to use gift cards at other locations?

  2. The Clover Duo version 2 is incompatible with usage at grocery stores with belted checkout lanes.

    If you picture the set up, as the cashier you have the workstation in front of you, and the customer facing device to your left. With a 1.5M cable, you cannot get to from where the register stand is to where the customer facing payment device on any belted checkout lane.

    With the Duo version 1 I found a work around, but the way the cabling is set up for the version 2, you cant jockey the cables around to make it work.

  3. We have been using the Clover rewards program for almost a year now. If a customer has a certain amount of points, say 1000 or more, and they decide to redeem a part or all, there is no option to do that. The option that is presently available is that they can only redeem 50 points out of the total. Eventually, with this method, they will keep accumulating more points without being able to benefit from it. Hence, implementing a feature that allows the customer to redeem part or all of their points at their discretion would be practical and…

  4. I would like a way to price items including tax. My example is I charge $4.50 for an item "including tax". Our sales tax is 6%. If I set the price for 4.24 w/.25 tax, it comes to 4.49. If I set price for 4.25 w/.26, tax it comes to 4.51. Is there a way to do that or possibly in the future? Thanks!

  6. Any data older than 30 days is no longer stored on the Clover POS device, forcing users to access a computer for this information. This change impacts business operations by requiring additional equipment that was previously unnecessary, leading to a negative customer experience. I expect this issue to become more significant in the retail environment as we approach the holiday season when returns over 30 days are more common. Additionally, we can no longer search by a customer's last name, nor can we see if they received a discount or used reward points, which affects merchant profit margins.

  7. The digital gift card feature is no longer showing up on the gift card app. This is a useful feature because we don't have to always use the physical gift cards.

  8. Customers ---> Edit Customer or New Entry

    Please allow for copy/paste functionality for phone numbers.
    I have to copy/paste to the e-mail field to then type the information in the phone number field.

  9. Could someone please fix it so that one can enter the information one wants and not from right to left.

    For example:
    $0.00 is what appears in the fields
    If you start typing from the last zero, you have no issue.
    If you type from anywhere else, it is not exactly what you need to display.
    Sometimes to avoid the annoyance I have to copy the number in full and then paste it over to Clover

    Leave the fields blank so that one can enter what they need to without issue.

  10. When the accounting sync is turned on, QBO receives a daily journal entry with sales, sales tax, tips/gratuity and the offset is cash/credit card payments. Clover needs to add a line item for Merchant Fees. The total bank deposit does not tie to the accounting sync because the merchant fees are not included. The bank deposit for the day is total credit card payments received less merchant fees. It would be great to see the merchant fees synced with QBO.

  11. Use the customer facing screen from the station duo 2 to upload marketing jpeg or PNG announcements, when the customer is waiting for payments, multiple promo ads are changing every 5-10s on the duo customer facing screen

  13. A pinpad without power is needed for the Clover Compact! With the Clover Compact terminal only using another Compact as a pinpad makes it very difficult to use because of the power needed for the pinpad!

  14. There should be a way to import customers from a different POS system and be able to include their balance. We have may customers that have items on layaway, or money on their account - and there is no way to get that information into Clover.

We should be able to set the same customer facing business name (the one that appears on receipts) for all of our facilities and differentiate the internal account name (what we look at when selecting which of our accounts we want to update). When you go to Zara, it says Zara on the receipt no matter which location you go to. There are no other details regarding location, etc.

  18. The information should display the banking information actually being used.

    I had merchants being billed to an old bank account that is different from what is displayed. This was not a sync issue since it had been going on for months.

  20. I would like to access the open orders report on a monthly, or with a custom built date range in the dashboard, right now its only available in the device and as a owner of business its not possible to have a physical presence before the device to run a report.
