Keep Order history saved on the device longer than 30 days
Any data older than 30 days is no longer stored on the Clover POS device, forcing users to access a computer for this information. This change impacts business operations by requiring additional equipment that was previously unnecessary, leading to a negative customer experience. I expect this issue to become more significant in the retail environment as we approach the holiday season when returns over 30 days are more common. Additionally, we can no longer search by a customer's last name, nor can we see if they received a discount or used reward points, which affects merchant profit margins.

Edit variant item name
There is currently no way to edit a variant item name. You can edit the overall name of the product, but not the variant. You have to delete the variant and then reupload, which means having to re-enter the price, cost, SKU, product code, stock, categories, modifiers, and more. It adds a massive amount of time when you have to do multiple.

Merge items into variant items
We do not have the ability to turn a normal product into a variant item. This makes things difficult with having to delete and then recreate the item. It would also be great to be able to merge items into one variant item. For example, if I have 15 separate items, I would love to be able to merge them all into one larger item with variants.
We personally have a product with 75 colors that were all entered as their own product. There is no way to merge them or even just convert one into a variant item. We…

Have a closing report that splits out the type of credit card and advice customers of changes ahead of time
Go back to having a closing reports which summarizes the totals per type of card being printed in the location. Advise customers of changes before.

we need closeout manually
Now clover only provide closeout automatic every day. but for the business that do not have lots of transaction or sometime have a big amount transaction, the business owner want to make closeout manually or can set up the closeout for every 2 days or every week. this is convenient tool to every Clover user.

Weighted Items with decimals
Team, The new dashboard version removed adding inventory with decimal places. I buy and sell an item that is by weight and not in exact whole numbers. Please allow adding and removing inventory with decimal places.

QR Code disabling
Disable QR Code scanning. Vendors are beginning to Put QR codes and bar codes on their products. They put them in about the same place. If your employees are not careful they will scan the qr code. Comes employees go ahead and enter in something for the qr code into the inventory and put it as $0. Disable qr code scanning then we could prevent giving away our merchandise because of employee problems. They say you just need to train your employees better, but a simple fix like this would prevent it and eliminate the human error.

Caller ID Integration for Customer Profiles
I have not heard of this in circulation and would be a unique feature that most point of sales do not offer. Here is the functionality.
When a a customer calls, the system identifies the phone number and matches it to an existing customer profile in the Clover Point of sale. If a match is found the profile is displayed on the clover device, allowing staff to view or edit details, or create new sale or order. If no profile exists, it prompts the creation of a new one using the caller's information/or just phone number.

Ability to Edit Digital Receipts to fit Branding
Have the ability to edit customer digital receipts (via text / email) to fit the business branding. The black header and blue print is rough on the eyes.
Currently the only option is to edit the logo + Heading and Footer Heading.

Barcode Label Printing
The new Retail Growth Plan has "Printer Labels" within the Inventory, and it is confusing for retailers that want to print barcode labels. Please update the plan to change the verbiage and/or to enable merchants to print barcodes/labels for retail.

Let's say you have items in inventory as
(Burger Categories)
Hamburger $1
Cheeseburger $1.5(Pizza Categories)
Cheese Pizza $2
Sausage Pizza $3(Fries Categories)
Small Fries $0.75
Large Fries $1.50(Drinks Categories)
Coke $0.50

Allow us to correct an email address and send and existing invoice.
Currently if you put in an email address wrong, you have to edit the customer to correct the email and then you have to create a new invoice. You can not send an existing invoice to the corrected email.

Multiple inventories
It would be nice to be able to have a single merchant account and be able to run multiple inventories.
Example: Parks that have field day events.
They'll have a device in their gift shop. A device in the ice-cream shop, a device at the ticket booth, and then a floater device.
It would be nice for them to be able to take the floater device to whichever location is busy and only run through that inventory.
Currently, you have to run separate MIDs and have to have an extra device for each MID.

Receipt size on portal
We have found that the default receipt size on the portal is too large, resulting in it printing on 2 pages. In order to adjust this we change it manually using the "more settings" for the printer. I know things vary from one printer to the next but it would be nice to have the size fit to 1 (Letter) sized page or have it "Fit to Printable Area" by default.

Revenue drop down on item entry
When you are entering a new item and add the price, category, costs and inventory numbers the Revenue drop down does not save when you hit save. You have to go back into the item and redo it and hit save again and it will then work. That is so time consuming and would be great to get fixed!
