Need to allow round up or round down for discounts
There needs to be a setting to allow the retailer to choose whether a % discount will round up or down. As with most retailers, our prices end with .99. Currently, when we apply a 50% discount to an item that costs $4.99, the customer is charged $2.49. If we had the option to round the discount, the customer would be charged $2.50. State Tax Dues Miscalculated
As a Clover reseller, I'm receiving feedback that the taxes collected on taxable items sold is always off. State sales tax is a flat 8%. Clover's Tier 3 support is stating that they round DOWN on pennies, vs. up. This seems like it can leave a lot of room for error on taxes due. There should be no rounding and leave it at more concise number.

Geo Taxes for Travel/Event Merchants
Merchants who travel for events/pop-ups would love an automated tax adjustment based off the location they are in without having to manually update all their devices for each event.
Reporting for each city/state/country is essential with this automation.
EX: I make sales in Atlanta on Saturday and sales in Chattanooga on Sunday. When I filter "the last 7 days" it will show me "sales for atlanta/taxes" and "sales for Chattanooga/taxes"
Hope this is helpful and merchants often request this feature.
(maybe using cellular/wireless manager or wifi to recognize the location?)

ADD NEXT RUN COLUMN
In Customer List – Business Name does not appear as a column. Clover Support recommended that they put Business Name in First Name field as a workaround.
Recurring Payments – there isn’t a column to show Next Run payment date, only Last Run

Faster tap to pay
Right now, the Clover device makes you select a tip before instructing you to insert or tap your card . We can speed the process up by just inserting the card at any point right now —-but the tap feature, which is what everybody is gravitating towards now, is not activated until after the tip is selected. In fast environments when a bartender puts the flex down for the customer, the customer is selecting the tip button and walking away. tips issue
Hello we have problem the waiter is only allowed to order and print reciept ! so when customer goes to pay at the cashier the tip goes to cashier.
we also have another problem we can only scan with the order section .
the scanner is not compatible with dining in app

Tap pay signature
Your company doesn’t offer a signature option if the customer does in fact use the tap to pay option. I have had disputes over transaction and feel that a signature option for this could be another layer of protection for the retailer.

Email Entry
Currently, the staff can find me as a user/contact and then place my order in order to auto-fill my email address when i make payment.
The problem is, the all the staff don't know me so i have to type my email all the time which is frustrating. Why not remember my details based on card details like other stores.

Partial Refunds on Payment links and HCO
partial refunds within the Clover dashboard. As of the current system configuration, there are specific limitations related to partial refunds based on the transaction type:
- Virtual Terminal or Physical Clover Terminal Transactions:
o You can process partial refunds for transactions conducted through the virtual terminal or a physical Clover terminal.
o If a customer requests a partial refund for a charge made using either of these methods, you can initiate the refund directly from the Clover dashboard.
- Payment Links or HCO (Hosted Checkout) Transactions:
o Unfortunately, partial refunds are not supported for transactions completed via payment links or HCO.

Please allow keyed refunds in the clover dashboard virtual terminal. If the original sale is not allowing a refund, then I have to get the whole card number and key in the refund, however, I can't do that in the Clover virtual terminal. In the Vterm, the options are "Take payment" "Pre-authorization" "Invoice" "Card verification" "Recurring payment." Please add "issue refund" to these options.

Flat tipping "above" a specific threshold
For the Smart Tipping feature, flat tipping "below" a specific threshold is available in "Tip Suggestions". It would be nice to add flat tipping "above" a specific threshold as well. Some customers spend $200 to $300 and leave a $5 tip. The merchant can post a minimum tip amount on transactions over a specific dollar amount on the menu so the customer is aware. This would be a great feature to protect the waiters and waitresses.

Invest in the customer rep agents
As a business owner transitioning from Payeezy to Clover, I would like to say that the Clover customer service is non existant.
I would propose investing in the people handling the customers. All my encounters with the agents were terrible, they have no knowledge of the products or/and how the system works.
We take recurring payments, and nobody could explain how the system works or why it does not do what their own instructions advise you to do.
There was no training nor welcoming instructions on how this platform performs. So far, it is net inferior to what Payeezy used…1 vote -
Exchanges with more flexibility
We use Clover for our retail business and would like more flexibility with exchanges. Many times, the exchange is not for an exact priced item. The work a round is time cumbersome - Issue an in-store credit, because sometimes the item can't be refunded. Create a new sale for the exchange for items and then pay via a split transaction of in-store credit and regular payment.

Add a Tax Inclusive Option
You should have a tax-inclusive item where you can see the price of an item and it automatically subtracts the sales tax in reporting and reports the item revenue.
