  1. My business model is mostly recurring membership-based. Clover does not give me the option to send a link to collect my clients' card information to create a recurring membership. If I want to create a recurring payment process, I would have to be face-to-face with my client to collect their card information. Why can't I send them a link so they can enter their card information and allow me to create their recurring membership? In 2025, this is the opposite of efficiency, and if I can't have that, then it is a deal-breaker.

  2. When a recurring payment fails, it shows up as having run, but not failed unless you open the transaction. An email sent to the admin showing failed payments would be a great help!!!

  3. In addition to the planned update of being able to enter a new expiration date for a saved card without having to put all of the customers card information in, it would also be helpful to be able to update a new customer address without having to put all of the card information back into the terminal for a recurring payment.

  4. In Recurring payments, the merchent now does not have the ability to set up a start and stop date in the "Plan". We NEED this feature back. It also now runs the card as soon as you set up a "customer". ALSO VERY BAD. Please revert back to the original format with a start and a stop date and do not run "customer" until start date. This was a terrible "upgrade" and is making way more work for the merchant as now we have to manually run all of these payments every week/month.

  5. If I have a client that has a payment due in 5 days, but they wish to pay today but their payment is on (pending status). I can't remove them from a pending status. I can remove the payment plan and delete it, and that payment will still be pending. I would have to charge them, leave the payment that's pending, only to return it. I need flexibility for my clients. Another client that had an extra recurring payment as error and because they were in (Pending Status) I could not stop the payment. I called Clover, and I was…

  6. Please add recurring payments as an option to the reporting. Merchants want to be able view the data by dates.

  7. We were converted from PayEezy. There were a lot of functions in the recurring payments like bulk changes to set a new amount to the entire plans customers and sorting the columns, by name, Exp Date, Next run date, etc. Some of our recurring payment plans have over 400 customers. We can't be expected to enter a change into each account as we have over 1300 transactions entered in our system.

  8. One reason to use the Clover more often would be to have a way to add the sale tax for the city in which the devices are being used without having to upgrade to a more expensive subscription. A threshold should be created to allow this feature for new and small businesses. A good example would be making more than 10,000 a month, taking you out of the free sales tax. However, many people who start new businesses don't have the income to upgrade to a more expensive subscription.

  9. When our customers payment fails there should be a retry button beside it so that if the customer says to retry the card we can simply click it. First Data when they were around made it so easy to retry a failed or declined payment. Please add this clickable button to rerun a customers card!

  10. When a recurring payment fails, only the client is notified and they would need to take action to correct. We are a service company with some recurring payments and would like to be notified when one of those payments fail, so we can decide whether to call the client or suspend service.

  11. We are an iso and have many merchants using this system. When they are billed for Clover services, they get billed at random times ! Is there way to setup recurring billing to bill merchants either at the end of month or at the beginning of the month ? Having random billing creates discrepancies. Thank you !

  12. It would be beneficial to be able to choose what time recurring payments run. They currently run willy nilly and does not even correlate to what time they were input having some run at 9:30pm when our office is not even open. If we could choose to have all recurring payments run at the same time, that would be best.

  13. I want to be able to have my staff or manager set up recurring payments for customers since I am membership based. It only allows admin/owner to create. Do not want employees to have access to admin/owner information.

  15. In Customer List – Business Name does not appear as a column. Clover Support recommended that they put Business Name in First Name field as a workaround.

Recurring Payments – there isn’t a column to show Next Run payment date, only Last Run

  16. We are a gym that uses the recurring billing option within the clover dashboard for our 1st of the month fitness deductions for our members. The feature works great, but there is no transaction reporting option to include ONLY our 1st of the month fitness deductions. We also have a point of sale device that is tied in, so all transactions are included within the reporting. In order to make the report correct the date range needs to span over the course of 3-4 days, as recurring billing starts pending 1-2 days prior to the actual deduction date and usually…

  17. Currently, the staff can find me as a user/contact and then place my order in order to auto-fill my email address when i make payment.

The problem is, the all the staff don't know me so i have to type my email all the time which is frustrating. Why not remember my details based on card details like other stores.

  18. It would be helpful to assign a recurring payment to a specific item. It would make inventory much easier to know where the recurring payment is for.

  19. We have clients in our facilities in Puerto Rico who are very interested in using the new feature of ACH payments on recurring payments. But when they actually tried to use it in the states and the ID state, Puerto Rico (PR) is not included. Making it clear that Clover does not have this type of update for Puerto Rican customers. Please include this.

  20. Recurring Payments should allow for customer tagging with a user defined identifier that would display both on the invoice ledger and transaction ledger. In addition it should be a sortable column. Also the Customer Name should also be a sortable column.
