Warning message when Address and or Zip Mismatch on a Phone Order/Manual transaction.
Merchants should get a warning when either the zip code or the address number does not match with the AVS service. This message should happen on any phone order or manual transaction prior to completing the sale. The merchant should then have the opportunity to either accept or decline the transaction (void) because of the possibility of fraud. As it is now in Clover, the merchant may not catch the fact the AVS failed especially since it does not print on the receipt. As long as the option "Skip receipt screen & begin next transaction" is not checked, you will see the result of the AVS verification on the screen that allows you to text or email a receipt to the customer.
IMPORTANT NOTE: In the case of fraud (stolen card number) the merchant will lose the charge back and be out the money and possibly the product they shipped or gave to the fraudster. Since all other counter-top terminals have the ability to warn the merchant of an AVS mismatch why not Clover?!?

There is currently no way for a Clover Merchant to prompt customers to enter their full Address information when they are completing a sale through the Clover Online ordering system. The merchant can only require their Zip Code.
Someone posted about this with the title "AVS verification on the online ordering" which says "Completed". However, this has not been completed.
If a Clover merchant has a fraudulent transaction placed through their Clover Online ordering system, then the Clover Chargeback department will ask them to provide evidence of a "full authentication response" or that a "valid 3D Secure response was received."
The Clover Chargeback says "Our records indicate MasterCard 3D Secure was not utilized to authenticate this transaction or that a full authentication response was not received. To challenge this dispute, provide copies of all transaction documentation available to assist the cardholder in recognizing this transaction or provide proof that a valid 3D Secure response was received.
Clover does NOT allow the merchant to get full AVS or 3D Secure from the customer which will make it literally impossible for a Clover Merchant to ever win a chargeback coming from Clover's online ordering system.

I have been informed, by a clover customer representative, that my clover flex doesn't currently offer/have the ability to change the settings to prompt me to enter the billing information associated with the credit card I am processing. If I enter in the address information, I receive a better interchange rate/fee = saving me money... I switched processing companies TO SAVE MONEY, if I can't enter in billing address information, I will be LOSING money, due to higher fees!

In addition to this, I would like for Clover to have the zip/address as a required field if the merchant wants to make it required. The interchange rates are so much cheaper when the correct zip/address are passed in.
