Items to have a restriction times to be available for sale as an example, cookies to add time from 2pm to 4pm and to automatically not to show available after 4pm to be erased from items. Customers don't see it available after 4pm.

Support Alcoholic drinks for scan to order
Restaurants that serve alcoholic drinks are not able to use scan to order with any level of efficiency. Adding this ability for scan to order only should be available. I have many merchants who want to use scan to order in their restaurant but are not because of this limitation.

Entering UPC
I would like to see it when you enter a “New item” if the UPC has been previously used that the clover would notify you so you do not have duplicates. It would help with inventory tracking and data entry. I have been in the grocery business for about 17 years and worked several systems they all did this. I am very pleased with how the clover operates. Thank you.

Inventory Layout on Clover Dashboard
Merchant wants the ability to be able to adjust to column lengths within the inventory - items section. Some item names are longer than other and it cuts off and makes it hard to navigate/identify the particular item. So columns such as tax are longer, but only has a small number there so its taking up unnecessary space. Can this be updated?

Quantity on hand not displaying for items with longer descriptions in search results on Register Screen
When you do a search for a product on the Register screen, items with longer descriptions show up as:
This is an item with a longer des...
There is no quantity on hand displayed.
Items with shorter descriptions show the quantity on hand:
This is an item (10)
I would like to see the quantity on hand displayed on EVERY line for EVERY product. Either move the ellipsis back to allow for the quantity to show or put the quantity on the next line.

Inventory notification and dollar numbers
Hello we have a lot of liquor shops that need the low inventory item count notification either via email or text messages for low inventory And the merchant can reorder. Right now there’s no way for them to know if the count on the product is low.
We also need to add to the dashboard and system a way for the merchant to know how much in dollars he has on their products they are selling in their liquor shop.
These are very important features that we are losing business to the competition on.

total items in order
Can you add the total number of items in an order, while they are entering items in a retail environment. After opening an order in the orders app, this can be seen when using the Counter Service service plan. It needs to be visible when entering the order too.

order type
using the Station Duo one can enter an order and select "order type" example DINE IN, TAKE OUT and DELIVERY. However this selection "order type" is not available using the Clover Flex. Whatever "default" is selected (dine in , delivery, take out) in DASHBOARD is only type that shows up in Clover Flex. Order type should be allowed to be shown on Clover Flex; its only logical , otherwise the kitchen doesn't know type of order being prepared, if Clover Flex is used to enter order.

Add partial quantity on checkout
I am unable to track my inventory because you do not allow partial quantities. As a result I cannot track my inventory - please add, this is a simple functionality in place by all the competition.

Inventory/Filter modifier groups by deleted prop and modifiedTime
Now there is no way from the api to retrieve the deleted modifier groups after a specific date. This is useful for Menus synchronization on demand with other systems

Website Inventory adjustment should be returned
I was relieved when Clover added the Quick Edit to the inventory. I was able to cut my time in half by adding or subtracting inventory,
Now that it has been disabled here is how Inventory is added or subtracted.
Currently for 10 items
1. open inventory items
2. find item (Only can do one at a time and if I search for the item it doesn't stay after I save change)
3. open item
4. scroll down to item tracking(worse description ever)
5. open item tracking.
6. add number
7. save.
8. Repeat 10 times

Categories being applied to Labels.
Merchant wants the option to be able to assign Categories to labels. When creating a custom item under the category, their custom items that are created are not being printed unless they add it to the inventory and apply it to a label afterwards when the print option is set to fire labels.

negative quantities
We love our Clover and find it very powerful, user friendly and intuitive in many ways.
We would, however, greatly appreciate the opportunity to enter a negative quantity in order to be used for exchanges and substitutions.
We find that there isn't an easy way to update inventory in these instances and we need to, instead, make a manual transaction in our accounting system.1 vote -

over write clover id for inventory from my older clover
I am transferring to new clover. My older clover has ECWID account linked to it, and the way the website part is built to use the clover ID from inventory sheet to point. Now when setting up the new clover, it will not allow me to overwrite the clover ID, it will actually automatically generate a new clover ID to my inventory. Which means I will have to rebuild my website again every time I need to change my clover hardware, which I do every once every 10 months and I own 8 stores. Building a new website with 3500…

Better Tools for Scanning In and Receiving Inventory Linked to QuickBooks
Retail stores should be able to receive and scan inventory as they receive new shipments, and that data should be able to sync back to QuickBooks.

Manager or employees Should be able to add the inventory but they should not be able to delete the inventory
Right now the inventory app doest have any limitations. If we give permission to the manager he can delete the inventory the owner doesn't know want is going on.

Delay inventory cloud updates.
It is cumbersome to have inventory updates automatically push to the POS. This auto publish can disrupt service during regular hours, and inhibits working on menus, items, and inventory while the business is open, as well as when it is most productive to work on inventory.
If you can schedule a push to the cloud instead of automatically with every change it allows for a more productive and continuous workflow.1 vote
