Welcome to the feedback forum for Clover Management Functions. Please share your ideas for how we can update our Clover management software to help merchants run their business simply and easily. Specifically, this forum should only include ideas surrounding built in management functions (feedback on business management apps should be included in the Apps/App Marketplace forum). We are listening and we use this feedback to prioritize our roadmap.


Here are quick descriptions of each category so that you can easily locate and post ideas in the correct place!


1. Clover Dashboard Functionality: Share your thoughts on how the Clover Dashboard as a whole can function more effectively. 

2. Restaurant Menus and Clover Dining: Share your thoughts on all functions that specifically have to do with Clover Dining such as Clover’s built-in menu creation feature.

3. E-Commerce Management/Clover Online Ordering: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers e-commerce management software including Clover Online Ordering.

4. Inventory/Order Management: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers inventory management software.

5. Receipt Management: Provide ideas related to order receipts here including kitchen receipts, customer receipts and merchant copies. Tell us how Clover can enhance the processing of, information on, and appearance of various types of receipts.

6. Employee Management: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

7. Software Plans: Here you can provide feedback on Clover’s software plans. Please specify which plan your idea is featuring (Table Service Restaurants, Counter Service Restaurants, Register, Essentials, Payments).

8. Other Management Suggestions: Place your idea here if you have feedback that does not fit in any of the other forum categories.

  1. We are only opening for CURBSIDE PICKUP but Clover does not have the ability to remove the "In-store Pickup" option. Confusing and misleading to customers. Also, customers don't get the curbside order instructions so they don't know what to do upon arrival.

  2. Merchant requested to edit the time frame/wait time provided to customers for an order made through COLO, advised that by default provides a prompt of 40mins to be prepared, he said that won't work for his location as he has to many customers and sometimes need an hour depending on the amount of orders and customers in queue.

  3. Allow alcohol to be sold online where it is legal to do so. I am in Dallas, TX and it is legal to order alcohol online for pick up.

  6. I do not see the need to print Server Name ( Owner’s name) on order receipt + date / time stamp for Online Orders ( both Ordering.app & Clover Ordering). Those information alone take 4” of receipt space.
    Can someone look into this?

  8. Please give an option to update the logo on the online ordering above the business information.

    That makes things easy for the customers to find the right restaurant they are irdering

  9. Merchant wants to be able to have a QR code for the customers to be able to order and pay there without asking all the info that it requires, as in phone number and the captcha security.

  10. Merchant would like to request an enhancement for the Clover Online Ordering App so that the clients can select multiple modifiers when choosing their sides. I provided the workaround for adding them as items for the COLO only for the mean time.

  11. There is no way currently for a merchant using Clover Online Ordering to change the order that the menu categories show in. It would be great to be able to drag and drop these to change the "Layout" in the Online Ordering setting pages... just like it can be done within the inventory app for the category layout shown on the Register/Clover Dining screen.

  12. We are a Restaurant and we offer our customer discounts when they order online thru our website (instead Skip or Uber). But there is no option on Clover online ordering where we can do such. With our current online ordering platform we could issue a Coupon code and Customers could use that Code at checkout. Also that code will only work if customer spend more that X amount.

  14. So I just ordered food using this app and NOWHERE says when it's going to be ready. No idea if it'll be 10 mins or 30. That's a really important feature IMO. I had to call the restaurant and ask them when my food will be ready, which is inconvenient.

  15. Request to add quantity amounts to every order put in, as well as, the ability to create/customize orders. his shop sells donuts and he wants the customer to be able to 'build' the donuts (base, toppings, &icing)
    merchant is also wanting to add pictures to online ordering

  16. We have been offering To Go orders only since mid-March. In Ohio you charge

    tax of 8% on food and beverage when servicing in-house but no tax for food

    to go. We are allow to sell alcohol to go, which we need to charge tax of

    8%.

    We are currently using RESTAURANTOPS to manage the online ordering. They

    allow us to either use default tax or no tax - the no tax option works in

    Restaurantantops but not in Clover. To make it work for Clover, where no

    tax is charged for food but tax is charged for liquor and…

  17. We have a lengthy list of offerings, and average customers will need to scroll a lot to find the items they may want. It would be great if it lets us just present only the list of Categories first, and then, items under the selected categories for easier browsing.

  18. Currently, if a customer goes to Clover online ordering and cancels the order, the $0.00 order ticket will stuck in the order app and cannot be deleted, which is cluttering the list. Please add an option to delete or archive these cancelled orders from the orders app.

  19. Clover Online Ordering should have the ability to schedule business closure dates on future dates for Holidays, etc. This would help prevent merchants from forgetting to turn off online ordering and having orders come in while the business is closed for holidays.

  20. Please add a feature for customers to pre-order by a specific time that is more than 90 minutes. We require pre-orders a day in advance (due to production time). So a feature saying customers MUST order by a certain time/date would be required for us to utilize online ordering. And, having a requested pick-up time option would also be great.
