Clover Dining: Ideas related to table management and the Clover Dining experience.

Employees: Please include all your feedback and suggestions for enhancing Clovers employee management software. This includes permissions, viewing and editing employee roles, employee satisfaction, scheduling, owner access and more. If you have tipping suggestions, please include these ideas in the Tipping category of the Taking Payments forum.

Engagement: Share your thoughts on Clover’s built-in software that allows businesses to manage customers including viewing/storing customer information.

  1. I need to increase the delivery radius of DoorDash Drive to 30miles is set to 5miles. I live in Texas and everything is spread out

  2. Merchants need the OPTION (in settings) to fire orders to the kitchen from the Clover Kiosk EITHER at the time of the order being placed at the kiosk OR when the customer walks up to the counter. Currently, only the latter is possible, and only works for a portion of merchants, with certain workflows. Please amend/update the Kiosk settings, ASAP so that merchants can both make their own decisions and we can sell more Clover. Thank you.

  3. Pizza slice shop with a line out the door needs this feature ASAP. Front counter staff needs to be able to add a name to the order for the cooks to warm up slices at the front counter and whole pizza cooks to make them in the kitchen. That name needs to be printed on order receipts in Bold. We don't need to waste time trying to lookup customers, don't need to collect their phone number nor email nor save them in the database. We have hundreds of customers. We just to add their first name and have it visible…

  4. Title: Monthly View of Daily Item Sales Performance

    Description:
    The merchant is requesting enhanced reporting capabilities to better analyze item-level performance over time.

    Currently, the system only allows users to view sales data on a day-by-day basis, requiring them to manually navigate through each individual day to review item sales. This process is time-consuming and inefficient, especially when analyzing trends over longer periods.

  5. Because of food cost going up all the time, bakeries, sometimes have a lot of waste at the of the day. We need to be able to run a report that displays date, time, and items sold. That way we could have a better ideas on when to stop baking certain items during weekdays and weekends.

  7. Add Permissions to Reporting to allow employee role to view All Cash Sales, not just their cash sales, only. We don't want them to view the entire sales report; however, they need to be able to view all cash sales to balance the drawer

  9. Clover Dining prompts servers to enter a guest count every time a new table is opened, and this data is confirmed to be collected and stored by Clover. However, this information is completely inaccessible — it does not appear in any dashboard report, CSV export, or REST API response, making it impossible for restaurant operators to track covers served, calculate average check per cover, or use this data in any meaningful way.   10. When we are beginning to run low on a product, it would be nice to turn off the item online only. A recent update took away the toggle that could disable the item online and now we can only mark it as out of stock across all menus. We'd like to turn off online first since we cannot clearly communicate low stock to online customers.

  11. Hello,

    Can we create a Happy Hour concept that can go on Clover online ordering?
    For example, Taco Tuesday would go live and online all day Tuesday from open to close.
    Or for instance, 50% off menu from 3:00 - 5:00 every Thursday.

  12. Currently, the colors are assigned automatically and aren't helpful. For example, a Hot drink option button would be HOT and we would choose blue buttons for Cold drinks.

    Also, we NEED two order tickets automatically printed. we have to waste too much time pressing more options and pressing print order.

  13. Recently the Happy Hour app disabled the feature that prevents the happy hour discount from being continued past normal happy hour times. For instance if someone orders a beer that is discounted a dollar before happy hour is over and the server then reorders the item using the "+" it continues the discount...the server now has to re-ring in the item in order for the item to be at its proper price.

    Happy Hour also does not let you disable it on a specific device. For instance if we have a party going on that should not receive the discount…

  14. The Item Sales report used to have functionality to print CATEGOERIES or CATEGORIES WITH ITEMS. This functionality was available when the user clicked the PRINT link and presented with a dialog box and several options including the Categories or with or without Items.

    This option was removed this week from the Report and we would like it restored. Our ownership was accustomed to this report and the workarounds are just a lot of extra work. (Manually open/expand each category prior to printing or the export to CSV are the two suggestions we discovered before Clover confirmed that these are the…

  15. For a restaurant inside a hotel the merchant setup a custom tender to charge meals to the hotel room. However, they cannot add a tip to this tender. It would be really great to be able to allow tipping on custom tenders.

  16. Requiring an extra kitchen receipt printer in order to print kiosk orders at the counter can be a deal breaker for fast service, compact shops like specialty coffee shops. Currently, the kiosk cannot print to the receipt printer attached to the Station Duo. In order to print remotely (the only order printing that makes sense for a kiosk), one must purchase a separate kitchen printer and set that up to receive orders.

  17. Instead of only having the option to look at reporting as sub categories, we would like to be able to see the Head categories on the reports and have submenus for subcategories. When i called into clover for reporting issues this was not an option for them to assist with.

  19. Clover ONLINE needs to work WITHOUT Doordash AND ONLINE Menu needs ability to AUTO stop allowing Customers to order Breakfast items after a particular time ...

  20. CLOVER NEEDS to STOP REMOVING and CHANGING things without CONSIDERING END USER "NEEDS" - Such as ONLINE DELIVERY

    Clover needs to STOP making HOMEBASE the Timeclock Option - TERRIBLE Customer Support, FREEZES and keeps people from being to sign in - Disrespects value of time and makes terrible experience for Businesses

    WHY did Clover REMOVE "set up" option for Merchants to use their OWN DELIVERY and set parameters and Delivery Fee in the Dashboard for ONLINE Orders via Clover APP and Google Search???
