1. Clover Dining Demo Environment for Android for sales partners

   It would be helpful to have an Android-based Clover Dining demo environment for sales partners.
   This would allow us to carry an Android tablet instead of physical Clover hardware and quickly demonstrate Dining to prospective merchants without affecting live merchant data.
   It could also potentially be useful for staff training, since Clover Dining does not currently have a Training Mode.

2. Alternating Order Numbers

   There needs to be automatic alternating order numbers when using multiple workstations. Setting a prefix does very little when the last two numbers are the same. This cost us time and money to deal with this issue on almost a daily basis. I'm happy with Clover overall, but I cannot recommend to anyone due to this. It's confusing that this is still an issue since all other information is shared between all workstations. Please fix this.

4. New and Old items need to be organized better on kitchen slips

   When a new item is added on to an existing order. The new and the old items should all be on the same slip. the new added item should be highlighted on the top and all the old items should be at the bottom. This way the kitchen knows that the new item is part of the same old order and should be packed together. this is from the prespective of a take out restaurant.

5. Clover Cash Discounting

   CLOVER CASH DISCOUNTING - For customers that use clover cash discounting that are on a daily deduct of that cash discounting rate. There is no where to get what their actual credit/debit card deposit should be.

   The only way to figure out that actual deposit for daily rate deduct accounts is to use this formula. Say its a **** % cash discount account. Debit + Credit - **** % = actual deposit.

   This also inflates net sales due to net sales populating that extra **** % on cards. That **** % is an an adjustment so it could be in gross but should be broken apart separately when it comes to your net.

   The Statements do a good job breaking down each deposit. The issue with that is, you can't do daily books and have to wait till end of each month to do all the book keeping instead of being able to do quick each day.

6. Net Sale Report

   We have many restaurant merchants reached out and ask for the total report that provides: Gross Total (Sales + Tips) Tips Total Net Sales Total (Sales excluding Tips)

8. Allow paper Order Receipts to be turned OFF when using KDS

   When using KDS, we currently can't turn OFF printing Order Receipts. It either has to be ON (and it shows on the KDS + it prints) OR it is OFF, and it doesn't print or show on the KDS. Please allow paper Order print function to be turned OFF while still allowing the order to show up on KDS. This is really important especially in a QSR environment that does a lot of online orders with 3rd parties but does a lot of in-person pick up. We need to be able to keep the Order Printer function on for online ordering (so the physical receipt can be stapled to the to-go bag when 3rd party delivery picks up the order), but not for in-store orders that only need to show on the KDS.

   We need the ability to disable Employee Access to Mail/Phone on Dining Check Out. Currently merchants are experiencing lots of fraud due to the customer being able to click the X in the upper left and the screen, going back to payment type. 11. Show Current Order While Adding Items on Clover Flex

    When taking a tableside order on Clover Flex, servers can see the running total and item count, but cannot see the actual line items already entered while continuing to browse and add menu items.

    To review the order, the server must tap the dollar amount to open Order Summary, then return to the menu-entry screen to continue ordering.

    This becomes a significant operational issue in busy full-service restaurants, bars, and shared-plate concepts where a table may order many items and multiple rounds.

    For example, if a table orders multiple entrees, appetizers, drinks, and other items, seeing only “15 items” and the running total does not tell the server whether the correct items and quantities have actually been entered.

    With a 20–30 item check, repeatedly switching between the menu and Order Summary interrupts the ordering flow and makes it harder to catch mistakes immediately.

    Other restaurant POS systems have addressed this on handheld devices. ***** keeps check details visible while an order is being built, ***** offers a Real-Time Check View with a live check summary, and **** provides direct access to order line items during order entry.

    Clover Flex should provide a way to see the current order while continuing to enter menu items.

    It does not need to copy the Station layout. A collapsible order panel, expandable check area, or compact view of recently entered items could work well on the smaller Flex screen.

    At minimum, servers should be able to see item names, quantities, and modifiers/special requests, and ideally tap an existing line item to edit it without leaving the ordering workflow.

    For busy table-service restaurants, this is more than a cosmetic UI improvement. Tableside ordering is intended to improve speed and accuracy. Requiring servers to repeatedly switch screens—or remember the contents of an invisible check—works against both.

12. Ability to Add Costs for Modifiers

    I have had this request made by a number of my cafe and coffee shop merchants.

    It would be extremely helpful for restaurants to get more accurate cost reporting and gross profit margin reporting if Clover could add the ability for merchants to assign a cost to modifiers just like we do for items.

    For coffee shops and restaurants every additional protein option, every milk choice for a coffee, flavor syrup pump, etc has a cost to it from an accounting stand point.

    Lets say i have a $5 Latte, if I am adding an modifier to that item like oat milk for $0.75, that additional $0.75 has a true cost to it that is currently not being considered in the Clover Item Sales report. We can just roughly up the latte cost but that doesn't accurately reflect all the different modifier options that any given customer can order. Adding a feature for merchants to add the cost of modifiers would allow cost to be considered for any customization of any product the merchant sells

13. Scheduled discounts for online orders

    We would like to have the ability to automatically adjust prices for specials (items sold at a reduced price during specific days or times).

    This functionality is easily handled on the registers with use of the ***** app. However, this app does not affect item pricing on online menus.

    For example, if an item is sold at 30% off on Thursdays, this could be accomplished in one of two ways:

    (1) Apply a scheduled discount, similar to the one created by the ***** app.

    (2) Allow daily availability to be assigned to individual items. In this case, we could create two versions of the same item: one priced 30% off and available only on Thursdays, and another at the regular price and available on all other days.

    Either option would work. The second approach would also provide the added benefit of allowing certain items to appear on the menu only on specific days, for example, offering a different soup each day of the week.

    Ideally, we would like this type of day-and-time scheduling to be available for both the registers and online ordering.

17. Restore the "Tax" Column to the Main Transactions Report for Government & Tax-Exempt Audits

    In a recent update, the "Tax" column was entirely removed from the primary list view of the Transactions section. For businesses that frequently process tax-exempt orders (such as sales to government institutions, schools, and non-profits), this change has completely broken a critical audit workflow.Because Clover does not have a native, rigid framework for assigning pre-verified tax-exempt customer rules, the standard practice is to use "Remove Taxes" at checkout and type the state entity or exception details directly into the order's Note field. Monthly I would reviewing and reconciling these transactions for state tax audits by sorting the Transactions report by the Tax column, isolate all $0.00 tax transactions, and cross-reference them with the order notes to verify the entity was listed.Now that the column is missing, the "Summary" view under the Taxes app is useless for an audit because it only provides a lumped total, not a line-item breakdown. By removing that column now to see that same data we have to export the entire transaction list to Excel.Sorting on the tax column in Excel to isolate the $0.00 items.Manually copying individual Order IDs, moving back to Clover, and looking up each order one by one just to read the notes field.What used to take a few minutes now takes much longer and forces me to use multiple windows, clicks, and programs. Its very inefficient. Simply add the column back or make it something that can be toggled on.

18. Provide POS check details back on intotransaction details; went missing after portal update

    When we process payments with our POS system using Clover terminals it use to show our POS check details (Check number and table/customer name) in the transaction details of Clover transaction details. This is now not visible in the new dashboard. We cannot search on check numbers now which makes it very difficult with the high volume of sales we do day to day.

20. Need column that shows Tip Amount

    Please I noticed a change in the latest update that doesn't meet my needs: let me explain.

    In both the desktop and mobile versions, when I go to

    Dashboard > Sales Activity > Transactions,

    the column showing just the "Tip amount" no longer appears; this is important for remote work (which is how I operate, since I’m not always at the restaurant).

    That column used to be visible in the previous version. Is it possible to display it again without having to download the XLS (CSV) file every time?
